Hi Everyone;

As you can see, ownership of Silver Mountain has changed hands again, and hopefully for the last time. Some of you may remember me from old wolf role plays such as Great Ebony Realm, Ora...

"I remember this place.."

Distance voices were only the memories of a life so long ago. Voices that haunted the blonde wolf but not so much a bad way. A smile twisted through his thick fur when he decided to take a rest. Tusani was awestruck as he ventured to the edge of the springs, moving between a couple of large boulder like rocks and drifted down to the water's edge. Brown specced ears pulled forward, as he stretched his neck over the surface of the water and stared at the shaggy reflection of himself. "The reflection has changed a bit I think." He chuffed with amusement, there were signs of wrinkles next to his black eyes.

Tusani was not old, but he was much older then the yearling that had ventured to these springs so long ago. The voices grew louder as his memory was savored and longed for. His fur was not as soft as it was back then, but he remembered the day well. Loping through the fog pockets that still today exsisted. His creamy blonde body blending almost as well as his alabaster white friend. Ashkii. Wonder whatever happened to him...

Faces began to emerge through the years and back to his present mind. A young fiesty black fae, Kasil, two other males. One golden brown and another a spitten image of Zaron. Bree. There was a stab of pain in Tusani's heart, thinking of Bree. He didn't know what had become of his friend, his best friend, or really any of the ones he had grown up with. Silver Mountain, and Outlanders. Though he could put stories to some and fates to a couple, Tusani was pretty much at a guess with the rest.

That day was blissful. Life had not fully started for many of them, and they were simply allowed to blame adults and curse at the rules they were bound by.. Though that day they cried in praise at their ability to break them. Tusani remembered the difference there was from his former home, Silver Mountain, and the pack he was meant to be with, Outlands. The freedom a whelp had in comparison. Memories of their sweet voices drifted in and out of his mind, and before he knew it Tusani was laying on the edge of the springs, head down and one of his paws in the warm water, resting. He remembered the first time he had realised this pond was hot, and didn't understand then that it was nature that caused it.

Sleep soon came to the tired male, unknown to many that he had returned. He didn't want to, for now, make sense of the strange smells around him. There had seemed to be another pack formed, but there was a smell of violence that for now he would leave to imagination. For right this moment, Tusani needed rest, and sheltered by the thick fog pockets, it would be difficult to find the light colored male unless he was tracked or just simply stepped on. Grawff.

Living)

Adoptive Father: Tribuke. He passed away from old age at nine years old.

Adoptive Mother: Citali. During a pack hunt, Citali had gotten too close

to the stag they had been trying to corner. The buck reared and kicked

his legs out, thusly knocking the female on the ground. Alert and alarm

had already spred through the herd and Citali wasn't able to get out of

the way. She was trampled and thusly, killed.

Siblings: Tusani is the oldest of six and the first pup to his parents.

They were all separated during the time of the bear raid and some Tusani

doesn't yet know of.

hunter named Dwavin and has given life to three strong puppies. Renae,

Kila and Casey. Three wonderfully beautiful girls.

Mazeta. Born third in the litter, Maze has also found his way home.

Although torn and showing the brutality of life, he has found sanctuary

in his parent's homeland. He has taken up betaship and backs his parents

with an iron paw. Though love has not forsaken him. He found courtship

with a young two year old female and they're quite happy together.

Though, she is barron and will never give him pups. Maze is unphazed by

this as he's not really a parent type.

Juasta. Born fourth, he has not yet found his way home and it is unknown

if he is even still alive or how his life has wound up.

Lana. Born fifth and twin to Tanni, she has not found her way home. Her

whereabouts and even if she is alive, is unknown.

Tanni. The last of the litter and born sixth, and twin to Lana. She has

returned home to her parents and lives there now as a normal packmember.

Fiesty temperment has kept her from finding love up til her third fall.

A determined older brute, by the dubbance of Stallion has stolen her

heart and come spring they will bear seven puppies. They will be named,

Izion.

Kiloni's siblings in no particular order are, Bree, Ptirr and Keid. None

of these have had children.

Izion's siblings in no particular order are, Isaura, Barron and Lora.

None of these have had children.

Best friend: Bree of the Outland pack in Silver Mountain Region. He is

also the brother to the late Kiloni. But he was with Tusani in Silver

Mountain and both were brothers of different blood. At the time of

Tusani's disappearance, Bree was beta to him.

Pups:
-in order of birth, given to him by Izion-
Zacytheus. Oldest of the litter, Residing in Outlands.

Elysia. Twin to Serenity and daddy's little girl. Missing.

<b>~Appearance~</b>

Breed: Purebred Tundra wolf

Length: 6 ft.

Height: 4.5 ft.

Weight: 120 lbs

Pelt Coloration: Tusani is considered a blonde wolf. His body is an off

white with strikes of brown weaving through his coat. Marking his back,

ears and several other places.

Eyes: Black

Scars: His back legs are severely damaged, his ankles having been ripped

to shreds in the war of the Silver Mountain Region. Giving him a

permanent limp and they now forever ache. A bullet scar on his right

shoulder blade has no hair surrounding it and has since healed

completely. A move meant to kill him done by illegal hunters.

Summary of Tusani's looks:

Tusani is at the maximum size of his breed. Being his father was very

large, he has adapted the massiveness from him. Muscular and very swift

on his legs, he is by far an attractive wolf. However, reguarding his

strange coloring, he inherits that from his mother, Tian. See, for

Tundra wolves, blonde wolves are not impossible, but they aren't

normally seen. Mistaken regularily for Rocky Mountain wolf and Artic,

his DNA is actually Tundran. His mother was a pale white color, and

being born Tusani was a mixture of both browns and whites. However as he

grew, he became more blonde then anything, with several highly noticed

black and brown streaks. His fur is a medium cut and thickens terribly

when winter comes, however he is not considered shaggy. He has several

scars which will be detailed and explained in his history. Mainly, he

has inherited a permanent limp. His back legs sting terribly sometimes

as result of a injury acquired back in the war of his previous home. He

has a bullet scar to his shoulder and several small marks where needles

were injected to sustain life in his dire frame.

<b>~Personality~</b>

Tusani has had a pretty different life. Experiencing things at a young

age. Like, orphanage, abandanship and the loss of his former mate and

children. He has seen a lot, being alpha at merely a year and a half and

for this he has been molded into a respectable wolf. He's generous and

very kind. Passively bold, meaning he doesn't take crap but he won't

just haul off and assert himself to prove it. Not at first anyways. He's

gentle and firm all in one breath. Speaking strictly from alpha

perspective, the brute has learned that if you earn the respect of

others, you don't have to assert your rank when you want something done.

But with a soft voice, there's no arguing with him or consequences will

definately follow.

Tusani isn't an overly aggressive wolf. He will throw his weight around

only if absolutely necessary and he really does detest unnecessary

fighting. Loss of life, for no reason is purposeless. But when duty

calls for it, he will put his heart and soul into every movement like

it'd be his last. While alpha, he ruled his pack with a high reguard,

everything was for the better for the Outlands. They could do what they

pleased so long as his pack was safe from harms way. Now sure there

would be fights breaking out, but that was just the genre of his domain.

He is a logical thinker and takes his time with decisions, if he's

allowed time anyways. Tusani doesn't like rushing situations and if he

has the time he will seek solitude, a place of safe haven and lay for a

while mulling over the circumstances. He isn't overly friendly and won't

bound up to you with licks and giggles. But he is in his own likeness a

very socialable male. He keeps a noble air about himself and addresses

everyone accordingly. Being so young when he had suffered the loss of

his mate, and a year or so later having lost his son, Tusani has learned

what pain is. What loss is. And he takes it in a steady stride. He won't

hide that he's hurting, as you will see it in his eyes and his posture

will remain low and mournful. But again he retains his dignity and won't

collasp into a blubbering lot, at least not in front of anyone.

Now there are two very crutial sides of Tusani that is deeply noted

about the young male. One being his love for a family, his family.

Especially his children. And two, his trust and friendship with others.

Tusani is very passionate about his family. Especially his young

children. A protective and caring father in his own right, he doesn't

hide the fact that he feels deeply for them. He of course makes the

mistakes that every regular first time dad makes, and is more carefree

then his mate Izion had been. But he had never claimed to know what he

was doing. Or that he did it right. Simply, Tusani supported his pups,

and he spent much of his time with his daughters, namely Rini

(Serenity). His weakness would be by far his children and the easiest

way to get on his bad side would be to harm a single hair on any of

their heads, tails, backs, bellies or legs for that matter. (LOL) A

devoted and loyal father, Tusani would lay his life down to provide

anything for them and his mate.

Trusting. That's where most get him wrong. One would thing Tusani is a

very trusting wolf, given his natural aura. But he's not. It takes a lot

to get in his trust and once you have suceeded, dare any that break it.

Tusani had been betrayed many times in his life. With his foster parents

not telling him he was adopted, and love betraying him and taking his

mate into the deapths of the beyond, and not to mention his trials he

faced from being an alpha. He is wary of everything though he may not

always show it. However, should you vow an oath of trust and gain his

respect, don't break it. He takes betrayal very personal, and feels it a

deep blow where it counts. This is a good way to bring out the brute's

almost non-existant temper.

Otherwise, Tusani can be a bit hardheaded, and he's not afraid to say

no. If he doesn't like what he hears, then he will simply tell you so.

Outspoken when he needs to be, he also has a fiery temper when it does

surface. Always the calm and rational wolf, don't get him angry because

should you manage that you'll get the build up and he'll leave no body

so to speak. Though even in a fit of rage, he won't attack to stimulate

a fight. And never will you catch him raping a female. But he will

assert dominance if he has the rank to do so with. In a final note,

Tusani is loyal, dedicated and brave. He will not back down to any given

situation and will stand head long against it. Normally a very peaceful

noble wolf, he is also known to hold very long and powerful grudges.

<b>~History~</b>

The wind howled mercilessly against the barron grounds. Snow covered all

that was God's handywork and the temperatures had dropped dramatically

as night fell over the packlands. Although most were tucking themselves

into bed, the wolven pack reigning these parts were far from bed-ready.

Gathered in the den areas, some slept while others kept a nervous and

anxious watch. One male in particular. A black alpha showed no signs of

sleep and he had definately lacked it over a day or two. Excitement,

panic and worry all coursed his strong veins. Everyone in the Grayland's

pack was nervous, for this didn't happen very often. What you ask?

Neela, an old knowledgable caretaker nudged her alpha tenderly. "She'll

be find Carter." The old nurse whispered and turned to follow her

colleages into a cave set into the base of a mountain. Her old withered

eyes though still full of life, had spotted the young female struggling

to get comfortable. "Relax Tia, nothing will get done that way." She

chuffed and it seemed to sooth the white alphess.

The birth had been long and difficult, spanning into the early hours of

the morning. The entire pregnancy had been a challenge for everyone.

Tian especially. It wasn't a common thing that wolves were born in the

dead of winter, and that caused a high amount of concern through the

pack. One thing had lead to another, and the alphen's fullproof plan had

backfired. They never expected anything to come of that night in the

forest. That beautifully breathtaking night.

Tia's sides stung dreadfully in full reminder that nothing was

impossible. And with the aid of several pack caretakers, the she-wolf

had produced six health pups into the world. Of course the chilling

winds on the outside and the cold cave walls against the defenseless

newborns was posing a high threat. So the caretakers aided the alphess

and each huddled the pups next to their mother and grouped together

enough to keep them warm. They stayed like this til the morning light

broke the shadows.

The old nurse had left Tian's side, the pups greedily feeding at their

mom's side. Time to alert the new papa. Carter had, with a little

coaxing from his sister and betas, slipped into a light sleep. He was

resting out by a rock and covered in snow when Neela had bowed to the

alpha and chuffed for his attention. Carter had woke with a start, and

plowed straight into what mattered. "Is she alright Neela? Tian. Is she

alright?" He begged for information, thirsting needly for it.

Neela smiled and nodded her old cranium. "She's fine Carter, as I said.

And with her she brings six health young to our world." Her tail briefly

wagged and for a moment, the alpha was proud. Then worried. Neela seemed

to read what he was thinking and couldn't answer his question. The

question everyone nearby had on their minds. Would the pups survive til

spring?

Carter had followed the old nurse into the cave and the caretakers all

grew submissive before him. The brute excused them and Neela allowed it.

"But not for long, the whelps can't stand to be without the heat for

long." She reminded the new parents and both nodded and thanked her.

Tian was comfortably laying with her suckling puppies as Carter strided

towards them. His head was low, showing he wouldn't harm the pups nor

the mother. Tail tucked, he gently eased his way to the floor.

Tia merely smiled and closed her eyes after seeing him eye the puppies

so curiously. She looked back at him and murred. "There are three strong

boys Carter. And three beautiful girls." She whispered, clearly tired.

He watched them for a moment and together the proud parents fawned over

their children. After a few licks and nudges, they ran into another

problem. Names. With a small bit of discussion, they were chosen, and in

order of birth were thusly dubbed. Katomo, Destiny, Mazeta, Juasta. And

the twins, Lana and Tanni.

With the help of the pack, a few weeks flew by slowly, and the pups were

nearing the middle of their second month. Not quite two months however.

They were healthy as possible in the hard winter conditions and

energetic. Still quite small and not yet weaned, they were kept to the

dens at all times. Their bodies still couldn't stand the cold just yet.

And although the warmth of their parents at night was enough now, they

were still much too young and vulnerable.

So the pups were kept indoors. But it didn't keep them from trying new

things out and exploring, playing and scaring each other. Katomo and

Mazeta were infamous for scaring the twins. They were slowly learning

that if you sneak up on someone and bark as loud as possible, they would

shriek and run away. Which was a funny sight to behold.

Everything was going smoothly and there was high hopes the pups would

make it to spring. Although some of the packmembers were looking thin,

the main priority was to make sure the children were kept healthy. But

like every safe haven and good story, a villian and devastating event

has to happen. This being no different.

There had been talk of a large bear having woken up from hibernation

early. The wolves were hungry and eager to see if this were true. Since

it was about midway through the winter time, the fat on the bear would

still be plentiful. So Carter gathered a large party together and set

out to hunt down a nice large meal for the pack. Tian and her nursemaids

remained in the den with the cubs while two strong able wolven male

warriors stood guard at the entrance.

It was a long while before the guards were seen, and instantly the pups

were shushed and stopped in their games. Screaming. Lots of it too. Tian

and Kala gathered the six whelps together before the wolves left the

mother with them to investigate. The hunting party had returned, and

they brought the bear!! Only, it wasn't in chunks. Not like they had

hoped. Instead, mama grizzly was very much alive and angry.

The wolves ran from the dens to protect their home against this

intruder. But already it was wrecking homes on the southern side. Carter

flew into the cave with his family. The pups were all huddled under

their mother frantically and he growled at Tia. "We've got to get them

outta here! There's a bear!" He barked and called two of them over.

Tanni and Destiny scrambled away from their mother with a nudge from

Tia. "CARTER! They'll never keep up!" The mother urged as she saw there

was four remaining puppies and only being capable of carrying at most,

two.

Carter just darted out of the cave, muffling that they'd come back for

the others. Hesitating slightly, she nuzzled the pups and ordered them

to stay put before grabbing Mazta and Lana up in her jaw and carrying

the crying pups out of the cave, leaving Kato and Juasta still inside.

Both the males cried fearfully at being left and curled up against each

other, wailing. Trembling with fright, Kato closed his eyes, the sounds

of the bear's monsterous roars scaring him out of his wits.

After what seemed like forever, teeth plucked Kato's mixed colored body

away from Juasta's white form. Both pups squealed and fought against

their captors as the other was also picked up. "Hush, we're taking you

to your mom." The wolves promised and both silenced themselves. Hurrying

out of the den only minutes before the bear slammed into it and caused

the opening to buckle.

Kato didn't know what had happened, but he had been tossed into a thick

bush and woke the next morning with a headache. He was very much alone

and his stomach growled. Faintly he could hear his parents howling for

their lost children, and slowly their voices grew farther away. He

barked and yipped frantically as he tried to call them back, but falling

over a small patch of ice, he stumbled and collasped in the snow, making

a pretty nice hole.

Shivering as the wind whipped across the top, he climbed out and started

walking. Being so young it didn't take long for the pup to collasp. But

he had walked far enough to invade the unclaimed in Silver Mountain

region. Curling up in a ball, half frozen and starved, Kato shut his

eyes, crying pitifully and only wanting to be safe. Fate would have it,

that this was not the way he would die.

A fae had picked him up, and defended the pup against the Outland

alphas. Tribuke, a cowardice male from Silver Mountain, had come to her

aid and so did another. It didn't matter, Kato was carried with worry

and concern back to the dens. He was warmed up by Citali's body and she

had worked a bit to produce milk. But soon did and he suckled greedily

from her.

With a satisfied tummy and not shivering anymore, Katomo had uttered his

name when she asked and fell to sleep next to this unknown female.

Well, time wore on. With the permission to raise the pup from the alpha,

a new mateship had formed. Tribuke and Citali had together taken the

responsibility for the loner pup and as Katomo grew, they taught him all

they could to provide him a safe and fruitful life.

Kato had long forgotten his parents and the bear attack. He had made

friends and wreaked havoc on the quiet packlands. Bree and him had

clicked almost immediately, neither knowing really that the other didn't

belong there. Misfits unknowing but drawn together. Games turned into

training and slowly Kato had unfortunately become unfavored by the alpha

male at the time. Kierno.

At eight months of age, he had defied Kierno's direct order and instead

took off to Caller's Ridge. Bree later met him and they spoke for a

while of exploring new lands. Neither knew that Bree wasn't allowed out

of Silver Mountain, as they did not know of a treaty formed between the

generation before them. Curious minds often were started by innocent

intentions.

However, their plots were spoiled when Kierno and Tribuke showed up.

Kato recieved a beating and still defiant, he was quickly banned from

the packlands. Disbelief was written over the faces of the wolves

gathered, save for Kierno. Tribuke immediately protested the banishment

of his son, and it was that day Kato found out he was not the REAL son

of Tribuke and Citali. His world shattered, for the very first time to

his knowing anyways, he fled the packlands and sobbed in the unclaimed

for a day or two.

After meeting Kierno that night, who had been kicked out upon losing a

match with a packmember named Shelus, Kato had new sights in mind. He

had heard of the 'nasty' Outlanders and travelled towards their lands.

Chaundra, part of the treaty that she had been forced to give up her

first born Bree in exchange for Kierno's first born Ashkii had taken

interest in Kato. She had met him at the borders and learning of his

friendship with Bree she happily accepted the whelp into the pack for

information alone. Katomo had shed his birth name and instead introduced

himself as Tusani when she had questioned his name.

He started a new life, with new purpose in the Outlands. And with a

final look back, he began his fateful adventure. Within the outlands, he

met Ashkii and Kiloni. They were 'siblings' but looked nothing alike. Of

course he and Ashkii, being of same hue and color, had befriended and

the two became a recklace force. Tusani was growing, his mixed pelt was

now more defined and he was very much now a blonde wolf.

Ashkii had run away from the Outlands and being completely and utterly

alone, Tusani fled his new home when he was just over a year old. He

wanted to know the truth. He wanted to find his parents.

Travelling he became a loner. His sides thinned greatly as he wasn't the

best at catching food, it was lucky for him he ran into Zacytheus. A old

male without the pleasure of children or family. The rogue took a shine

to the blonde yearling and took him under his personal tutilage.

They had together, found Tusani's parents. A small pack miles and miles

away from the Outlands. A peaceful little place called Shaedon. He was

welcomed with tears and gleeful barks. The prince had returned! Carter

and Tian were thrilled to see their son again. Several had returned home

after a while and it was one more they didn't have to suffer the thought

of having died that horrific day.

Being home, with wolves that accepted him and took interest in him was

great. Tusani really enjoyed himself, however something was dreadfully

pulling him away. He missed something. The outlands? Not really. Bree?

Okay yea a little, but not what was pulling him. What was making his

nights sleepless, was having not heard the finicky pickings of a lady

pup. Kiloni.

He had spent four good months in his home when he addressed both his

parents and told them he would respectfully decline his right of

passage. As alpha heir. They had talked long and hard and he explained

what had kept him up. He didn't want to wonder and they said their

farewells. Zacytheus had decided to stay in Shaedon, having found a nice

older female that served his interests. With a respectful farewell,

Tusani set his course for the Outlands.

A long travel had been worth it. He had met Kiloni in the unclaimed and

the two had frollicked quite childishly together. He wound up fishing

her up on his back and carried her MUCH larger body to the borders.

Ouch. But he was strong and more able to do such a task now. Meeting

with ranked male, he was accepted into the packlands after a while.

Time rolled on and Tusani was becoming more and more knowledgable. He

found out about the treaty, and Bree had moved to Outlands. Finally a

face he enjoyed to see. Turning two years old, Tusani had asked Kiloni

to mate with him and the stubborn hard a** female had accepted. But it

was a match made in the firey tombs of hell itself. And was never meant

to work. Tusani loved her and Kiloni loved him, yet she was far too

stubborn to show such emotion to him freely.

Chaundra had returned to power with her mate and more puppies had come

into the picture. Tusani and Kiloni were suppose to bear pups when the

third winter came. But it never happened. Another pack had formed in the

region. One simply hellbent on annialating the other two peace packs.

Miranda had passed away from pupbirth, and Duchess and an old Outland

member had taken over. Mahlen Verkado. A very well known male within the

Outlands. Chaundra had been killed due to heart failure and with Zaron

stricken with grief, Tusani and Kiloni had stepped into power.

However, so did Ashkii of Silver Mountain. Not long after Mahlen and his

mate had murdered Zaron, Duchess had taken the one thing Tusani held

most dear to him. He had arrived in the unclaimed and the scene struck

him hard.

Duchess was towering over Kiloni's prone form. her neck snapped and

hanging in the alphess' jaws. Tusani charged forwards, emotion and anger

gripping him. Duchess would DIE! NOW! He was stopped but even to this

day, Tusani doesn't know why or who it was that did so. It was someone

of his pack, Tal? He wasn't sure, the whole day was a blur. But the

grudge on his heart grew strong. Duchess had to die.

He mourned the loss of his beautiful mate, and several months later,

Izion, Kiloni's half sister had swooned the brute into mateship. That

spring, she had given him two strong males. The first he had named after

his mentor, Zacytheus, and the second they named Dhreleon. And two twin

girls which they had decided to name Serenity and Elysia. Pure angelic

names to suit their milky white pelt colors. However, there was no time

for dwelling on pups. A war was at paw.

A war was greatly reigning down on the region. And finally several

battles would finish the onslaught. Leading the attack against Crimson

Valley, the plan was to provide a third group enough time to snag the

pups said to have been born in Crimson Valley to Duchess and Mahlen.

They would aid Silver Mountain and the Outlands in basic blackmail to

coax Crimson Valley into submitting.

There, he met Rika. Tusani was jumped by two wolves. And savagely they

attacked him. Rika, a very deadly female, had attacked his legs and

damaged his back ankles severely. But the rest to him was a blur. It

wasn't until Kierno had howled for everyone to gather, that Crimson

Valley retreated and Tusani picked himself up and helped Kasil (Silver

Mountain Alphess) towards the new meeting area. Both had been clobbered

and nearly killed had the other hadn't been there to save each other.

They arrived at the meeting, and saw it. A spectacularily horrendous

site. Kierno and several other wolves were standing up on rocks, holding

captive desperate puplings. Each was crying severely out to their

parents and his eyes moved to where Mahlen and Duchess were standing,

their faces stoney and unphazed. Peace was made and the pups were taken

captive.

Months later, Tusani's heels had healed up as much as they would ever.

Fully healed, but he walked now with a permanent limp and they stung

whenever he got stressed or ran too much or thought of the war. The pups

taken from Crimson Valley were separated. Two, Mitzi and Arique, dwelled

with him, while the other three males dwelled with Ashkii in Silver

Mountain. They were treated as servants to the royal family. Tusani was

firm with them, and demanded respect from all the pups, especially them,

however he did have a heart and let them play occationally.

If there was a weakness that a wolf could prey on to gain the alpha's

attention, it laid in the four small souls of his children. Each was his

own weakness, and his fifth weakness was his beautiful Izion. Ooh and

she knew it too, those eyes. Tusani loved his family, there was peace in

the packlands. Silver Mountain and Outlands were at a crossroads, but so

far they together travelled on allied paths. Crimson Valley, had been

dealt with, or so he thought. For now anyways. From what he had heard,

Mahlen had been killed, happy days! And Duchess, sources told him, had

fled.

Everything was far too perfect, but there came a day in the late of

summer that again struck horror into the alpha's heart. Aging him far

beyond his years, and a memory of his lost treasure resurfacing. His

children had been playing, all four beautiful to a father's eyes. But

one, escaped his sight. Tusani had turned for a single moment to take up

a conversation with his beta at that time. Speaking briskly on topics

that would escape him now. It didn't matter, the point was, he was not

paying attention. His attention regained, Tusani got to his feet, sure

he had only missed the six month old pup. He must be hiding. One...

Two... Three... he counted in his head, spying his other three romping

around and his daughters trying to best each other in a brawl. But no

Dhreleon...

"Wait here.." He barked at his Beta and jumped down on the grass. "Zac,

Rini, Ely, where is your brother?" He asked the three pups who had

stopped to reguard their father. instantly their heads turned this and

that. "He was just here a second ago dad." Rini had piped up, now

on her feet next to Tusani, looking around. His oldest son snorkled a

remark. "Hope he didn't get lost." But Tusani growled

disapprovingly and watched Zac melt on the grass. Tusani howled for

Dhreleon to come and quickly picked up his scent ordering the others to

stay with the beta. Not willing to argue they did just that. Tusani

prowled quite aways from the playgrounds, and came upon a small field.

What he saw in that field would haunt him forever. And that night there

was grief in the Velorin family that spread through the packlands. Howls

that night, dedicated to the late prince of Outlands. Dhreleon, had been

mauled, two lynx cubs now lay dead. A payment to the parents for taking

his beloved boy away. Tusani had sought solitude, a need to be alone.

His young heart, aged so far beyond his years and again, for the third

time in his short lifespan he felt old. The weight piled back on his

shoulders. The death of his son had ripped off bandages that covered the

wound from when he had lost his Kiloni. Sure she was not the perfect of

mates, but he loved her dearly, and saw so much of her in Izion that

sometimes it scared him.

Tusani lived his life for a few months, and had learned to smile again.

Watching his children and helping them deal with loss and death as best

as he could. He knew they had hurt, and that their hearts wouldn't mend

fully, ever, but he kept them strong. Urging them to laugh again, and to

play, to explore. But perhaps his rules became far more intense on the

little ones. Well, not so little anymore he supposed. He would never

leave them, and would always be there to protect his children... Or so

he had thought..

Zacytheus had begged his father many many many MANY days to go out and

about. Show him the ropes of life. And so finally one particularily warm

morning, Tusani woke his oldest son and now his only son, and dragged

him out of the den. He had smiled a very forfilling smile as he watched

Izion lick their Zac and send him off with him. The father and son pair

moved about the packlands, Tusani explaining and talking most of the way

while his yound small son tried to keep up. His legs just weren't that

long yet!

They had crossed the border line and Tusani took his son to the fields

where he had been discovered so long ago, by Citali. And stories were

told, they were there a good hour before something painfully sharp

exploded through Tusani's shoulder. He had been on his feet in a heart

beat having heard something, but the next second the wolf was on the

ground, agonizing pain exploding through him. "RUN!" He barked painfully

to his son, desperation in his fuzzy eyes as Tusani tried to get back to

his feet. Fighting the pain.

Dumbstruck, Zac was frozen and yelped when his father had. Within a

matter of moments, the little pup found himself closed in a cage, and

his father's bleeding limp body the last of his memories. He was now the

prize of dog ring fighters. A pup that would be forced to use his

natural wild behavoir to win many fights. A future of starvation and

blood thirst.. For Tusani? He was left in the feilds, he was nearly

three years old, too old to tame and train for good decent matches.

Instead left to die, the hunters robbing him of his child, and his

family of him and Zac. Blackness consumed the doomed alpha. Bleeding and

left to his unawakened dreams of his family.

Or that's what was thought.

Tusani had woken several days later in a camp a few miles away from

Outlands borderlines. He heard so many strange noises and sounds, and

there was a stink he couldn't imagine. His body was numb but seemed to

be recovering, and he noticed himself locked in a very comfortable pen.

There was a tag stapled to his ear that didn't hurt, supposed done when

he had arrived.

Valiant, though he didn't realise it, was what they had decided to call

the blond wolf. A survivor of illegal poaching. The camp had been set up

a few weeks before Tusani's attack as a local animal rights and ranger

squad post had heard of these poachers in the area. Slowly, they nursed

Tusani back to health. His wounds were severe and it was nearly eight

months before he was allowed back into the wild. He was treated

respectfully and the humans allowed him live rabbits to chase and catch

so not to hinder his hunting instincts.

Tusani was now on a fast track home. The day he had been shot, now a

blurred unsure memory, he had to go home. He had to find out. Izion.

Zac. Serenity. Elysia. He had to know. And his beloved packlands, what

of them.. It took him til the spring to find his way back to the

unclaimed territory. What then... What now as he discovers the fate of

his family, and his packlands... What now...

Pant. Pant. Pant.

One paw in front of the other Mwit... keep it up...... Magi! I can smell it!

A russet and grey shadow slid stealthily over the ground, eyes wary and ears pricked for danger as the elegant fae padded slowly over the earth with her slender muzzle raised to test the air. Her eyes were bright with curiosity despite her long journey from beyond the mountains, and as she began to the first whisps of mist she chuckled darkly.

"Well whadaya know, the smell was mist not water...Laani"

The she-wolf growled, brilliant white teeth glinting in an angry grin that stood out stark against her deep coloured fur. Signs of exhaustion littered her light frame in the forms of grey shadows beneath her eyes and a seemingly efforless limp that caused her beautiful features to contort themselves in pain whenever her hind leg touched the ground, her coat was at second glance tattered and frayed at the ends with mud and dust clinging to it with a vengence.

A breeze picked up and shifted the mist around the wolf, briefly allowing rays of the sun to glide down and alight upon her coat. The brilliant light haloed Mwitu Jabari's coat with a golden hue that began to heat her back plesantly, she smiled as she felt its comforting heat and paused again to make sure of her recent findings... A gentle bubbling sounded from far off and the fae's heart lept for joy! There was water here!!

Despite her state Mwitu struck a gorgeous figure as she raced as fast as her limp could take her down the slope, her fur was a delicate fox-red with many variations woven among the hairs until they melded into the soft greys of her back, long, light cloured legs sprung from the ground in a soft patter of paws on earth. A deep ruddy stripe laced over her forhead between blue-grey eyes and above a brilliant white muzzle that extanded to a snowy belly.

Eyes glitering as she caught sight of the hot springs ahead, shrouded by a mist that returned over her head and cut off the sun, throwing her into a dim light once more as she ran. A roaring laugh like chimes in a storm escaped Mwitu's snout with the wind streaking it her ears and eyes as she three-leg hopped the last part of her flight down the hill, trying to slow down before she reached the water she so badly needed...A cream coloured form seemed to leap out at her from straight ahead and, too late!, Mwitu tried to skid to a halt! But she was going too fast! The youth's momentum sent her crashing into the other wolf and rolling over him into the steaming pool with a dramatic splash, soaking her to the skin and giving her unfortunate aquaintance a shower of droplets.

"Samahani! Samahani! I'm so sorry!"

The poor thing spluttered as she tried to drag herself out of the water, shivering as the air hit her sopping wet body.

((For the random swahili words tongue.gif Magi=Water, Laani=Damn, Samahani=Sorry

Name: Mwitu Jabari (Name meaning: Wild Brave)

Age: 1 year, 9 months.

Gender: Female

Species: Mexican wolf / Red wolf

Dimensions:
Length: 4.3 ft
Height: 2.4 ft
Weight: 65 lbs

Description: Mwitu is a beautiful she-wolf, her delicate frame and soft fur couple with her slender muzzle and sleek tail. A bright russet covers Mwitu's face with a darker stripe that traces down her forehead to the tip of her nose. The insides of Mwitu's ears are brilliant white, matching her belly and chin as the snowy flash descends along her underbelly. The very arch of her back and all along her spine is made up of mixed grays that meld neatly into fox-red before her fur turns white once more at her belly. Twin glinting pools of blue/grey make up her eyes and they always seem to be filled with mirth.

Kin: Fisi (Name meaning: Hyena) and Mbwa (Name meaning: Dog) are her brothers, her parents are Nyati (Father, name meaning: African buffalo) and Chui (Mother, name meaning: Leopard).

Personality: Hardily the quiet type Mwitu is a loud and bubbly she-wolf with a wry sense of humor and an optimistic skip in her step, but of course all light must have a dark, she is stubborn, occationally dishonest and she holds on to an immovable fear of humans that rivals many, having constant nightmares over them that are hard to push aside. One of the only things that keeps Mwitu's mind free of humans is running, swift and silent, the wind erases scars and the rythm of paw to ground matches her beating heart to bring her peace of mind. One of Mwitu's talents is the art of stalking, she found it amusing in her puphood to creep up on her skittish brother Fisi and became quite the expert at hunting the poor male from a distance only to leap out at him accompanied by raucous laughter as he yelped and often fell over. The slender she-wolf would roll around on the ground whenever this happened as is her habit when amused. Her laugh and elegant movements are the source of many troubles for her though males.

History: Mwitu, as suggested by her name, is not a wolf from around the silver mountain area or any area remotely close. Mwitu was born, along with her brothers, in a human shelter that was far from any dangers. Outside the shelter was an enclosure and a fence that bordered Mwitu's world. Occasionally a strange creature that walked on two legs would come, dragging in a dead dear for the family. The creature, a man of Kenyan decent, named each wolf and spoke to them until the names stuck. The project Mwitu was unknowingly a part of was one of conservation, her parents had met in another enclosure and when Chui had fallen pregnant the pair had been moved and introduced to harsher conditions than before to prepare them for what was to come.

Soon after Mwitu and her brothers were old enough the pack was released into the wild, unsure of what to do they had at first hovered around their release point and tried to track their care-takers down again but to no avail, they were alone, but united as a pack. However the controlled environment of their upbringing and their elusiveness that proved too much for the humans who tried to watch over them caused the small pack of five to tear and fray as food supplies grew short and shelter was hard to come by as the winter snows broke and engulfed them all in a white blanket.

Some miracle kept the pack loyal to one another and they put aside their arguments to huddle close in the blizzards that followed in Mwitu's first winter. The conservation project they had been in had been there for a reason though, the area was heavily hunted. As spring broke the life of Mwitu's pack became fraught with terrified flights from helicopters and low flying planes armed with maniacal gun-hunters. Traps that the pack had never come across in their huddled and still winter state became evident all too soon as Nyati had his front paw caught, permanently maiming him after his desperate family dug the trap from the ground to free him.

Life was a trial and the hunters drew closer with each step, finally the pack decided to move north, to the distant mountains where it seemed no hunter would venture. Not long after the pack set off on their journey were they ambushed by a group of trappers who had seen the wolves scat and prints in the melting snow of spring. The pack scattered as they attempted to escape and Mwitu was left alone and terrified as she heard gunshots in the distance and fled. She dared not howl for fear of drawing attention to herself and padded on silently with her utmost stealth, hoping that when she reached the distant mountains of safety she would be reunited with her family once more.

OOC Name: Sparrow

Whaddaya know! Stepped on..

A soft light seemed to play upon the brute's dreams. Images swam to him through the dimly lit darkness. Bubbling into existance before slowly floating away. It was a dream world like most. Nothing made entire sense, and though at times Tusani could be a vivid dreamer, he found that he much preferred these dreams. Laughter and voices he could scarcely remember rang in the distance of his dreams. Sweet sweet slumber. The blond brute didn't know when he had fallen asleep exactly, or how long he had been asleep, but one thing he was very very very aware of, was how he woke up.

A sharp pain ricochetted through his side, and across his belly, Tusani woke with a sharp yelp and a start springing with lightning speed to his paws. All at once, his shoulders rolled forward, and his massive size arched into a powerful aggression. Teeth bared threateningly and a snarl erupted from the pits of his throat, echoing around the naturally quiet springs.. A deadly warning. With his ears slicked back, and his body protecting itself, Tusani's black eyes, now wide awake, spun around the foggy area. Yet, a shower of water drops and a very sound 'SPLASH' turned his attention to the water. At first he didn't know what to make of the fae, who stumbled out of the springs spluttering apologies.

For a brief moment, perhaps his mind was still partly in his dreams, she reminded him of Izion, but even more so of his Kiloni. The next instant he noticed this wasn't the case. Kiloni for one, would never apologise, and if Tusani wasn't currently concerned for his well being he might have bursted out in laughter at the thought of an apologetic-Kiloni. Anyways. His black eyes searched her body quickly, sizing her up. Her smell was female, that was certain, and her demeanor, well it didn't look threatening. For a second he held his appearance, but then relaxed slowly.

Tusani placed his hind end on the ground and wrapped his tail around his legs, the tip of his tail flicked as curiosity now stepped into play. His side ached dully, but he was sure only a bruise would come of the encounter, no broken ribs or anything severe, that was a relief. He was now able to smile at the disorientation of the fae before him and he lifted his paw as he shook his head. "No don't worry about it. I've been woken up by worse, believe me." He growled, smiling a wolfish grin and hoped his words would assure the beast. He waited a moment and continued. "And who is it that has tripped over me?"

Mazeta. Born third in the litter, Maze has also found his way home.

Although torn and showing the brutality of life, he has found sanctuary

with an iron paw.

What now...

Fearful of the large male Mwitu forced herself not to cower as he loomed over her sopping wet body, teeth bared and eyes narrowed aggressivly. She bit back a defensive snarl, knowing that it would probably just make the whole situation worse! Besides, it was her own fault! Barging in on him and crashing into him and THEN ontop of all that! Drenching him in spring water! Bracing herself to make a break for it Mwitu licked her lips sadly, her thirsttore at her mouth with parchement-like dryness and she gave the water beside her a pained glance, knowing she would probably have to find somewhere else to get a drink. She stood her ground for now, to hide her limp. Waiting to see if the male would calm down or attack her.

A flash of humour lit up the brute's eyes and Mwitu's hackles began to settle down, not that she'd managed to look all that threatening what with the amount of water her coat had taken on in her tumble. As the male relaxed so did Mwitu, relief coursing through the fae that she woulnd't need to fight or to run. As the male settled down and began to talk she was soothed a little by his calmness as he asked her name...

"M-My name's Mwitu."

The fae returned the wolfish grin as she slowly sat down, still trying to hide her injured hind-leg.

"Like I said, I'm really sorry about crashing into you and splashing water all over you."

Mwitu smiled sheepishly and fiddled about with her dainty paws, scuffing dirt about with her claws.

"I was searching for something to drink... And I didn't see you there."

The she-wolf eyed the pool of water by her paws, aching to gulp down the warm yet vital liquid, but held herself, not wanting to show any more weakness to this much larger animal.

"And what might be your name?"

Her not so interesting tale began, yet Tusani's interest never wavered. Perhaps it was a trait of being a pack leader at one point. There was never a story that bored him, all was something new to learn. It was one of the high points of being border patrol or someone that was able to aquaint himself with all of the wolves of the pack. All the different pasts, the different goals and motives for leaving the rogue life. He listened tentively, flicking water off his ears somewhat as she finished her few words.

He softly chuckled and shook his blonde head. "Really, I'm quite alright M...." He paused as the name stuck him for a moment. "M..." Tusani's nose crinkled as he tried to pronounce her name. His eyes darted from the ground to the other wolf in his moment of helplessness, hoping he hadn't insulted her. But as smooth as he could he made do with what he had. "Em. I probably could have used a bath." He joked, hoping she didn't notice his stumble carefully nicknaming her Em.

Tusani glanced towards the water and his heart softened. "Oh.. Please, help yourself little Lady." He smiled and took the moment to look around, busying himself with the scenery. It was still foggy... "I'm Tusani, by the way." He said after a moment, looking back at her. "I've travelled for a while, and I knew this place from when I was a pup, wanted to rest a while. What about you?"

What now...

((Sorry this is sooooo late ^^ I've actualy legitimatly had Swine flu... Whoop for me TT-TT ))

Mwitu smiled gratefuly at her new aquantance's friendliness and listened to him speak, glad that at least there was one friendly soul up here in these desolate mountain ridges. A warm breeze lept up as the Tusani spoke, ruffling Mwitu's fur and sending the whisps of fog around them into a chaos of swirling shapes that flickered at the edges of the fae's vision. Velvet ears honed in as Tusani made an unexpected stumble.

"Maskini kitu! You poor thing!"

The elegant figure shook with a quickly surpressed peel of laughter as she tried not to offend the large male wolf before her... She glanced down shamefuly.

"Samahani,"

The fae apologised,

"I didn't mean to be so mocking..."

As Tusani motioned for her to drink Mwitu cast aside the mistake and lapped up water thankfuly, keeping her eyes trained upon the male she sat down and licked her lips happily. Her glad stance dropped a little as the reason for her arrival was asked.

"It's a long story."

She smiled hopefuly,

"I come from far down the mountainside, away from here and away from the lands of any pack..."

A look of deep sorrow and solitude swept through Mwitu's eyes and she lowered her head a little as the breeze picked up once more to send fog billowing close to the two wolves.

"I had a family, a pack. My brothers and my parents, Five of us all together. It was our fist winter outside of our old protection, as wierd two-legged creatures used to protect us in a large territory... But they let us out, and we were free. Winter's cold."

The fae shivered a little,

"We were always safe with the two-legged creatures but once their protection was gone we had to strike out our own path, and we weren't very good at it. It's nothing short of a miracle that we survived that winter, luck I guess... But as the snows began to melt and even before that, two-leggeds kept sneaking around and leaving out tainted meat and steel jaws to bite unwary paws. They could see our tracks easily in the snow as well... They tracked us, and we had had enough... We decided that we would travel to the mountains, where the two-leggeds surely couldn't follow... Then my father got caught by the metal jaws while they were on our tails and we had to dig and bite at it but-"

Another shiver passed over the fae and she licked at her own wounded limp briefly.

"His leg was marred, blood everywhere... We tried to keep running but the two-leggeds caught up to us... There were thunder shots and yelping... I got seperated and I couldn't call to find them for fear of the two-leggeds hearing me... So I've traveled up here, the place we were planning to go.... They'll turn up though! There's no way any of them would let themselves fall victim to such a pathetic creature as a two-legged!"

As the wind picked up further the mist was dispelled, allowing bright ringlets of sunlight to play along the wolves fur, making Mwitu's coat glow like rich dappled honey. A small smile of hope played across the beautiful young wolf's lips.

Tusani listened silently as the female started to yip and go on about her life's past. Roughly combed ears twitched randomly on his head as he picked out interesting points about her speech... Every wolf had a story to tell, he knew this. it was always similar in some ways different in another, but one of the main common demoninators he found, was that all had in the end found themselves alone.... Quite alone... His shoulders stiffened and rolled back formerly as his heart remembered his own trageties..His small family that never stood the chance to grow...

But just as quickly as his heart sank, his attention shot up when the female mentioned her encounters with two leggeds.. Memories flickered in his black endless eyes, almost a hollowed feeling pressing into his mind as he listened with a heavy heart. She spoke of capture and separation.. He knew that story all too well that's for sure.. Tusani's eyes were no longer concidering the pretty she-wolf in front of him. Instead they were locked on the ground. When she had finished he just nodded his large head, ruffling his mane of blonde.

"An impressive and unfortunate tale Lady Em." he started slowly, choosing his words percisely. "I know the strength and cruelty of those you have mentioned. The sharp bite of their weapons and the loud thunderous sounds they make.." He twitched a bit of fur where a bullet scar had made bald, and left upon him. "My family was separated by the same that you speak of. They possessed strange dens that you could not leave without a two-legged's permission. I lost my son to one of those dens that I could not break. And my family I was separated from. Whether my daughters or my beautiful mate still live, is unknown to me.." He shook his head, there was hurt in his voice, but he took a breath.

"Do you plan to live among these lands Em?"

(Sorry this is late, I actually didn't relaise the site was back. lol)

"An impressive and unfortunate tale Lady Em. I know the strength and cruelty of those you have mentioned. The sharp bite of their weapons and the loud thunderous sounds they make.."

Mwitu started, amazed that there were others too that bore the scars, physical or mental, dealt out by the feared hairless creatures.

NINI!? Does this mean that this is not a safe haven? That the twoleggeds come up to these beautiful mountains as well!?

"My family was separated by the same that you speak of. They possessed strange dens that you could not leave without a two-legged's permission. I lost my son to one of those dens that I could not break. And my family I was separated from. Whether my daughters or my beautiful mate still live, is unknown to me.."

This too, struck deep.

These foul creatures cannot be forgiven for these crimes! If it's the last thing I do I shall slay them all! One by one! Surely they cannot be too numerous? They are weak without their thunder sticks and their hairless bodies would not survive any form of cold! ... But at the same time, there are good ones... The funny one who took care of us was kind. Are they like wolves then? Somehow our brothers and sisters? No. They cannot be. No wolf would do such hideous things.

"Do you plan to live among these lands Em?"

Mwitu flicked a honey-dappled ear and twitched her whiskers.

"Ndio! How I would wish to! I come from far away, traveling here in hope of sanctuary. So far it has proven thus. I was planning on joining a local pack. To lend them my support so that when my family arrive here they too will have security. Places to hunt in, land to defend with pride and pack members. An alpha to lead us, a place to be at peace..."

She gazed at Tusani steadily, politeness briefly thrown to the side in the place of pure curiosity.

"You are not a lone wolf by nature are you, Tusani? You look too regal to be a loner..."

She smiled weakly, "Samahani, I'm being rude, don't feel you have to answer that."

((Sorry x) I took a while, I forgot about this thread too! xD Nini=What, Ndio=yes, Samahani=Sorry ))
