So, this was it, she had made it, finally to the top. She sat surveying her territory, or what she could see from here at any rate, a smirk on her face worthy of her upgrade in life. There was a lot of work she had to do now, but, she had power and that was what she enjoyed most. Laughing to herself softly she looked down at the dirt beneath her feet, pressing a paw firmly into it, leaving her print in the spring time earth, this was her land now and that was how it would stay. But, her first duty was to be done, claim it more firmly as her own. Climbing down from her observing point she made her way to the very edges of her territory, trudging along it, marking significant points to warn off intruders, this was her land now and she was going to keep it that way. Not even a male would get in her way, if he even tried to dominate her she would swiftly beat him back into place, this was hers, all of it, in fact she was loathed to look for a mate purely for this reason. Customs were awfully drab, perhaps time for the female to take the lead, she wasn?t exactly big, but she was strong and very well experienced. After all, she had five years under her pelt, all of it in tactics(mostly with males) and battle. Recently, wisdom had become hers to own as well as she had learnt from those five long lonely years, warring with everyone was the cause of her loneliness and battles should be fought sparingly, life didn?t seem so infinite at her age, but she had another four, five, maybe six years left in her if she was lucky, very lucky. When she completed her first duty, it was time to find out how many members of her pack remained and how many fled or had been killed, the hunters had been merciless, she respected that, but not the wolves that ran and hadn?t come back, it was shameful. If they were lucky she might let them back into the pack, she would have to see if they were worth the food and energy keeping them in order. Striding out into the lands she approached the meeting rock, climbing to the place of honour. She grinned as she stood there, lifting her muzzle she breathed in and let it out, calling her pack to be counted, hopefully it would be a good turn out so that she still actually had a pack, not just her ruling an empty land on her own, that would just be rather sad. Letting it die on the winds, she placed her now royal rump upon the rock and waited, this was the moment this pack was announced hers, if there was anything left of it, someone had to pull it together again after all and it looked like it was going to be her.
Name ? Felthenine Age - 4 Mate - None Rank ? Crimson valley packmember Gender - Female Species ? Tundra, Rocky Mountain wolf Pelt ? An odd creamy grey with a white underside and light whitey grey over her back and neck Eyes ? Deep reddish gold Length ? 5.8 Height ? 3.7 Weight ? 91 Parents ? Dune & Simak Siblings ? Dwaoviel, Menolein (dead), Gellon & Methen Markings ? Greyish brown markings round eyes much like her sisters though missing the outer down spike, a white ruff and shoulders that suddenly stops and goes to a darker grey about mid back. Scars - Two long scars all the way down her shoulder to the top part of her leg and a badly scarred top part of her shoulder, also many bite marks to her muzzle and lots of small scars over her stomach. A new scar she picked up from the betess is a large amount of bite marks which have made the fur on her chest a bit patch though it?s not noticeable at a glance. Her rump is littered with scars from the most recent battle; her left ear has a sizable chunk missing from it. Felths muzzle has two gash scars on her muzzle and one over her brow. Personality ? Flirtatious, cruel, manipulative and yet it can turn as unpredictably as thinning ice in spring. Her strong will is hard to break, though to get her way she will bend and weave her words even the most flexible of snakes would find hard and her tongue is as sharp with words as a broken peace of flint. Her general attitude she bent around seducing males and wheedling what she wants out of them. One of her hobbies is to get through as many males as she can in one year and get rid of them all before winter she has yet to have any pups and she intends not to have them until she finds the best male she can, or one that would hurt Dwaoviel more then she already has done. She?s also a rather foul tempered hound often holding grudges for what most wolves would think pointless to make a grudge over and when she deals with her grudges she has her vengeance cold, though warmed with blood and tears. She will happily disregard the wishes of her family and ?friends?; to her they are nothing but things to take from and use to get places in life. History ? Felthenine was the third eldest out of the litter, first to willingly harm her sibling, second to leave the pack, first to get a mate and first to leave it standing in the cold snow confused and heart broken. While a pup she was more interested in real fighting then play, often drawing blood from her siblings even though she didn?t intend to, she had a hard time controlling herself and it often cause concern to her parents. But as they do they loved her just the same, but they thanked Dwaoviel more then Felthenine, though she didn?t see why as she tried to help as well Dwaoviel just succeeded more and at least Felthenine actually learnt all she could from the wench that kept taking to them. She was never sure why they all called her wench, hound and other unnecessary names; she was just very friendly with the males and wanting the alphess position. Didn?t every one? If listening to her elders was bad then she wouldn?t do it any longer, as soon as she did as she was told they again started getting angry with her so she went quiet for the first year of her life. Though when she became an adult she immediately started talking to the males, only giving cold words and insult to the females, causing hatred and fights to start. They would of forced her out earlier but she was such a good hunter that it would of hurt more then it would of helped, so the decided to wait until a near enough even hunter to her came along. First year: As they tracked their prey the siblings kept their noses to the ground, but Felthenines head wasn?t on the hunt it was planning out how to get her ?perfect? sister out of the pack, then she realised how blind she had been and a cruel grin spread over her muzzle though she quickly hid it. When they split into groups she made sure she went with Dwaoviel, hardly able to hide her excitement at removing her sibling from the picture and causing mental and physical pain to her. As they picked out their prey she grinned deciding to pretend to be slow and having difficulty, she couldn?t wait for it and a slight twitch took to her tail. Felthenine waited patiently for it to start everything seeming to shiver around her as they crept toward the herd, a single slow deer catching her eye, it had all of their eyes it may have been slow but it still looked tasty. She saw them getting restless and smirked, she would if she knew she were to be a meal, the ones they were after started getting left behind as they all started moving off, her and her siblings followed them picking up speed as the deer did. When they started catching up with the one they were after Dwaoviel sped up claming her jaws round the creatures thigh letting Felthenine and her sister catch up, with ease Felthenine caught up drawing up close to Dwaoviel. Finding her chance she turned her head side wards and sunk her gleaming ivories into her sisters shoulder drawing blood, enjoying each bit of the flavour as it flowed into her mouth and down Dwaoviels leg. Soon Dwaoviel let go of the prize, as did Felthenine remove her fangs from the bloodied fur and flesh, smirking she started to run her normal speed and caught up with the deer?s neck lunging sideways and forward sinking her teeth into a new target, the deer?s neck soon spilt blood and her younger sister caught up and helped bring it down. When they returned with their prize Dwaoviel wasn?t anywhere to be seen, Felthenine guessed she had gone somewhere to sulk, she laughed at the thought and bowed to her parents grinning. ?It is done, mother, farther, though it saddens me to tell you, Dwaoviel did not make the requirements.? She said nearly bursting into an evil cackle and she forced her ears to droop as her parents replied after a moment of shock. ?Very well? well done to you four, at least, go and talk to the alphas of your success.? Felthenine watched them leave and set off to the alphas with her three remaining siblings. When they got to the alphas den Menolein chuffed her greeting and spoke. ?Good day alphas! We have completed your task though one of our number did not.? She said to them, the alpha female looked over the four of them with solemn eyes, as to the alpha male and he spoke with sad tones. ?Ah, I see Dwaoviel was the one not to make it, but I shall incorporate you four all the same.? With that he jumped down from the entrance of the den, approaching the four of them and nipping each on the muzzle leaving a small nick in their flesh, each in turn bowed down to the alpha. Once it was finished the two alphas left them, going into their cave, each of the siblings left as well going in different directions though the two youngest left together as they had grown being together with Dwaoviel who was now gone. All the siblings but Felthenines small sobs could be heard in various areas in the pack, even some who weren?t family had a few tears drip from their fur and when Dwaoviels last goodbye song came over the snowy trees all but Felthenine let their own song rise to Dwaoviels in a sorrowful send off. Not long after she had disposed of Dwaoviel, she was assigned to leading pack hunts, but she was still not happy as she was still second youngest out of her remaining siblings and so she decided to publicly deal with this one. As her elder sister was now gamma, at only a year an a half it was quite a feat for their pack and every one said Menolein was a good choice for the rank, this maddened Felthenine even more and drove her to challenging for a rank battle. She knew it wouldn?t be hard as she was much quicker heavier and bigger then Menolein and she was also more skilled. When they had agreed they parted ways to the fight area, which was a huge flat rock, which had the stains of past fights on it, some black with age others fresh and deep red. As Felthenine was the first she would be the one to call, she raised her head and let her blood chilling song rise to the ears of the pack, lowering her head again she waited and watched. Soon others joined her moving through the shadows of the trees up to the rock, where Felthenine sat ignoring all around her until Menolein came into sight, she stood staring at her sister and spoke. ?To death dear sister, let us dance!? she barked her last words and leapt gracefully at her sister jaws wide, she knew it would miss but she was ready for any miss and any reaction. Her sister leapt to one side though turned aiming a bite at her sisters side which missed, though Felthenine got a good grip on Menoleins flank and being her sister being lighter she manage to drag her across the rock before she managed to work free of the jaws. Though blood poured down her leg, Menolein turned to Felthenine then leapt at her neck but she was ready and moved so she merely got shoulder, turning she got hold of the side of Menoleins head and pulled her away from her shoulder. With a mighty heave she thru Menolein across the ground, Menolein skidded across the rock leaving her own bloodied mark before leaping up just in time to be hit by her sister again where they both ended up reared on their hind legs biting at each other both trying to get at the neck both failing. Then Felthenine pushed forward sending her sister sprawling across the floor again where she landed on top of Menolein, a paw on Menoleins neck and one on her chest holding her there. Menolein struggled clawing and tearing at Felthenines flesh, soon managing to push her off. Felthenine snarled about to get up again then she felt pure pain coarse through her body from the top of her shoulder, she felt teeth scraping across her bone then it was vigorously shaken and she felt the flesh tear. Leaping up she yelped as Menoleins fangs tore across her flesh before letting go, snarling with rage she charged at her sister ramming her over where she griped her muzzle tightly before tearing at her stomach with her claws, when she had finished with her stomach she let go and clamped her jaws round her neck and slowly cut the air off from her until she suffocated. Though to make sure she bit at the spine of her sister breaking it swiftly. Once she was finished she looked up, seeing the horror stuck faced of the watching wolves around her, smirking and trotted back to her den, blood covered and grinning. She wondered how they would all take to this, as it was odd for siblings to do such things in this pack, she gave a smirk thinking of the possible consequences and started to clean herself. Second year: Spring finally came, Felthenine turned two and though she killed her sister rather viciously she was a hit with the males, as she was a very strong wolf and perfectly healthy. She started to gain a very seductive walk, her tail wafting her sent to every male in the pack, even the alpha had some interest in her though he took is needs out on his mate. Although the rank of alpha appealed to Felthenine she was more after a low ranking one to seduce then leave, oh what fun she could have and so she began her pursuit. Walking though the pack she looked over each male she was near, wafting her sent to them soon picking up a few followers, though she kept walking then she stopped and turned speaking in a flirtatious smooth tone. ?The winner may have me for their mate.? A coy smile dances across her muzzle before she walked seductively up to the males and weaved her way through them, all of them got her sent and all felt her body curve round them. When she counted them there was 5, good nearly all the males in the pack that would do her nicely, she looked them all over and picked one. A very hansom one, big and strong looking his yellow gold eyes shining in is dark brown nearly black furred face, his darkest brown fur shimmered with every movement and knowing exactly what she said he leapt at the nearest male tearing into its pelt purest white ivories turning red with blood. He soon disposed of the one he had attacked and it limped off whining, not long after he attacked another which trying to fight back but soon was thrown away from the male, another leapt onto the huge male but was thrown off and leapt on soon maimed and immobile. Soon the rest started to run off, the single remaining male approached Felthenine and bowed to her speaking in the most deliciously deep and dark sounding voice. ?My lady Felthenine, I am yours, my name is Uzur Cloudcry. But Cloudcry will do.? She smiled at him already feeling an attraction to him even though she knew she must get rid of him once he was attached, for the rest of the day they lay with each other grooming and being snuggled up together. When it started to get dark they went back to Felthenines den, where Cloudcry quickly mounted her unable to hold himself back any longer, Felthenine enjoyed it a lot, but she didn?t say anything to him when he got off her and she lay down with him happily. She kept him for a month until she decided to cheat him, then she stayed with the next for half a month and it got less and less time in between each mate. At one point she even had 3 who were all oblivious to it before they were all terribly heart broken. Soon she found one she stayed with longer, his name was Ratatosk and she adored him. Though late one night while he was sleeping she was woken by the alpha, he looked odd slightly crazy, she was about to ask what he wanted when he dragged her out by her scruff and pulled her round the back of her den. ?I will have you.? He growled in her ear before forcibly mounting her, it hurt this time and she whined trying to escape from him, which made it, hurt more and she cried out for Ratatosk who immediately ran out and snarled at the alpha. ?Get off her!? he said commandingly, the alpha did so and turned to him. ?You dare order me around whelp?? The alpha was much bigger and when he ran at Ratatosk, the poor younger wolf hadn?t a chance and was killed instantly. The alpha turned back to Felthenine growling. ?I?m not done with you yet.? But luckily for her the alphess soon came after not finding her mate where she left him and saw him trying to mount Felthenine while she struggled and she snarled at her mate. ?How could you!? he fell of his prize as Felthenine escaped and she hid behind the alphess who turned to her. ?Leave now?.Or I will rend your hide!? the alphess hissed And Felthenine did just that, ran to the borders and past running far away from her pack. She kept going even when she was miles and miles away from her pack, only stopping to sleep and eat, what she didn?t realise was she was going the same way Dwaoviel had gone, soon arriving at the very same unclimbed lands Dwaoviel had roamed over. She finally stopped when she came over many pools of water some hot some cold, where she chose a warm one to stay in for a while. Her pelt was faded and even through her thick winter coat her ribs could just be seen, as food wasn?t the easiest thing to come by when on the run. The Unclaimed was between three packs, the Silver mountain pack, the outlanders and the Crimson Valley pack. But before she went to any of the borders, she found something she didn?t expect, the scent of her, oh so, so very dear sister, Dwaoviel. Third year: Though not anger or sadness that past through Felthenines mind at finding her sister, but a myriad of cruel, evil, blood thirsty thoughts all ending in Dwaoviels utter despair and pain and pure glee at being the one to finally put Dwaoviel in her place? in her own personal hell. Felth called for her sister, a long blood chilling cry that sang over the lands and reached the ever curious ears of Dwaoviel. Felthenine was pleased to see that her sister?s curiosity had got the better of her yet again and she greeted her dear sister with a wicked grin on her muzzle. ?Hello, good sister of mine, odd that you should be here and not with your beloved pack, wouldn?t you agree?? Dwaoviel had said, voice cold as ice under toned with a growl, her hackles up and threatening, but it didn?t bother Felth, she knew Dwaoviel hadn?t the guts to do anything or the skills. ?What terrible thing did you do to get kicked out of it hmmm?? Felthenine laughed cruelly to her sister?s words before giving the reply. ?Yes hello dear sister, my pack no longer had what I wanted in it and as for why I got hefted out, they basically didn?t like me as I had managed to allure the alpha and?? The grin she had when her sister arrived drew wider and became more evil. ?I was generally disliked, mainly because I killed poor dear Menolein.? Just then a male, Dwaoviels mate, arrived on the scene, greeting his mate and asking who Felthenine was, so Felth told him. Mixing some flirtation with her answer, wafting her scent to him and speaking in flirting tones, though strangely enough the male resisted and became hostile, though only verbally, probably as week as Dwaoviel, he never carried through with his stance. Soon threats from both of the pair were passed to Felth, threatening that if she came across the borders of the pack they were in, basically, they would attack her even thinking about it now makes her laugh as she thinks of both of them as weak whelps not worthy of any such happiness and her intents are to carry through her plans. Once she had left the place of meeting with Dwaoviel and Arnoux she headed to the Crimson valley pack, she was accepted by the betess, Sahria, though with a warning not to flirt with all the males and generally not be a slut, sadly that was one of her favourite pass times, but she would stay loyal to Sahria and abide her words. Soon after joining she met three others, Kratos, Akemi and Rugan, she sparred Rugan, agreeing to go on regular sparring practices with the two males, though Akemi apparently wasn?t the fighting type. Either way they didn?t happen and she ended up doing her own training, it took longer for her to get back into shape but with the more plentiful food and the safe exercising grounds she would be fit soon enough. After a while of her time with the pack, she went to a called warrior meeting, fighting the betess Sahria who she picked up a scar on her chest from and briefly fighting Lalita at the same time, though the yearling mainly sat out of it. It bothered her for the first part of the battle but once she found Lalita had lost she was happier, holding no grudge against the young female and going about her business. In the summer she found herself back in shape, also with a new rank of warrior, much to her glee, her prowess in battle had be realised, even though she had lost to the betess, but why else would Sahria be betess if she couldn?t fight? Though Felthenine was pleased with her rank, the summer heat drove her into a lazy state, lying under the trees of the midnight forest for an escape form the heat and she let herself become lazy and tired in mind and body for a short while. It wasn?t long before war had started out upon the land, the alphas of the Crimson valley pack calling a battle with the Silver Mountain pack, their wish for more land it seemed something they were going to fight for. A battle on Silver Mountain grounds, then a battle with the Outland pack, thus her wish was granted, she and her sister Dwaoviel came face to face with each other, little did Felthenine know that Dwaoviel was already pregnant, but it wouldn?t of made the slightest difference even if she had known. Their battle was short, Felthenines skill out weighing Dwaoviels easily. Once Dwaoviels head lay cracked upon the frozen rocks, Felthenine took her leave, to take a rank she saw was rightfully hers, after all she was the last warrior remaining before the lead Warrior rank was taken. When she was back she took only enough time to recover a bit of lost energy before calling, but Scythe did not show, though irritated, it didn?t bother her too much as she got what she desired. All was well for a while; she went about her duties for a bit until the ultimate insult, Scythe called to battle the rank back. Felthenine took the challenge up, even though Scythe had not shown, the female had said she was ill, Felth didn?t know whether or not to believe her but they fought anyway. The out come was as Felthenine had wanted, she kept her rank and she could keep her place in the slightly upper ranks. Not long after gaining Lead warrior, she accepted her first Warrior, Elijah, though he could do with improvement he did have quite a bit of potential, he was quite sizeable and strong, seemingly willing to learn though his lacking in experience would be a problem it was easy enough to fix up with time. They had fought as his test, soon Felthenine started seeing an opportunity to try and make a friend, something she had never had before and she started working on that after the last battle of the first war she had encountered. When she had arrived, many others were gathering to observe the scene before them. The other two allied packs were holding the hostages of the alphas pups, though this soon started to blow over and they were let back into the unclimbed. Elijah and her decided to get their act together, though much to her disgust their plea for breeding rights was denied, they didn?t get very far in attempting to persuade her as soon, both of the alphas disappeared, died, in fact and their place was taken by Barron, one who use to be a warrior under Felthenines lead. ~Occ info~ Name- Olivia Age-14 AIM/MSN/ICQ- peeeweee Email Address- peeeweee4@hotmail.com I also rp Darkening and Dwaoviel <center> <div style="width:400px; filter:glow(color= black ,strength=14)">We are born every year</div> My name is Felthenine, but Felth is better, I'm the Alpha female of Crimson Valley, I hope to find a counter part to halt Sorcens return, I do not trust him. One by one I suffer you gladly One by one You're all I don't need
Every movement, every step, was filled with agonizing pain. There was no blood and no visible wound on the black wolf, nothing to lend a suggestion as to why he moved so slowly, his legs stiff. He felt as if he had done something horribly wrong to deserve what fate had thrown at him this time. The wolves had moved back to their old home, despite the past. Had they all just shoved the memories into the back of their minds? Had they forgotten the loss already?
Funny thing about loss... Dark fought back tears with every ounce of strength he could muster within his tired body. The midnight brute's muscles ached with fatigue and his frame was growing more thin than ever before. He was still blessed with muscle, but strength without will was utterly useless. Was she really gone for good? The male's body shook as the struggle to move became more of a burden. How could he have allowed himself to lose Rika? He had sworn to protect her through it all. He swore to love her unconditionally until the end of time. Where was his white angel now? Lost. Dark feared his mate was dead. He hadn't even had the chance to utter a single goodbye; hadn't been able to tell Rika how much he loved her and how much his body and soul ached for her when they were apart. Unfortunately, Dark had separated himself from his mate a lot lately. The brute was mentally kicking himself now for that. If she was dead, he felt it was entirely his fault.
And you couldn't see The wood from the tree Your eyes are unkind So don't look at me
Dark composed himself as much as he possibly could as he continued his journey to meet Crimson Valley's new Alpha Female. What little was left of their pack would surely be turning up. Another bout of sorrow gripped the black wolf's heart, however, and he was forced to stop completely. Where was his little girl? Certainly not dead, right? Would fate be so cruel as to steal away his beloved and his only child? All he could do was hope that his family would find its way back to him. The brute had lost love before and didn't want to lose it for a second time.
One by one I suffer you badly One by one You're all I don't need
Move, you idiot! Put one paw in front of the other and move your a*s! The male's brain was screaming at him to forget his emotions and keep going. All Dark could do was obey. What else was he good for anymore? Not a whole lot...
Dark could smell a female nearby before he spotted her. She looked somewhat familiar and was probably an old member of Crimson Valley. The male brought his head up and dropped all signs of mourning. Now wasn't the time to go weaping all over. He had an impression to make. This meeting could make or break him as a member of the pack. If he couldn't serve his mate or daughter then he would most certainly serve his pack.
The midnight wolf took note of the she-wolf's piercing, fiery eyes. They were deeply intriguing; the kind of eyes you could lose yourself in. Something about them was extremely alluring, but Dark knew better than to tempt the almight fate. He was in a pathetic state, not one to be admiring some she-wolf's eyes- the new Alpha no less. Pale blue eyes trailed away from the brief moment they had met the fire of the Alpha's. The brute lowered his head slightly in respect and offered a small attempt to smile. "Hello." He said firmly. Impression. His mind was spitting the word at him, urging him not to screw up. Impression.
And life on the road, It makes you feel old Remember the time when friends were around When friends were around When we were all friends
A quick survey of the surrounding area showed that Dark and the she-wolf, sitting proudly on a rock before him, were the only two at the meeting thus far. It brought a bit of awkwardness upon the brute. The black male set his rump softly upon the soil and looked to the Alphess for a reply. He wondered what the future held for Crimson Valley and where this female would lead them.
It was all a matter of fate, just as everything else had been and always would be.
My name is Dark Novias. I was born five years ago a male with my wretched brother, Sebastian. I ended his life for the sake of my family. I am the proud Alpha Male of Crimson Valley. I will protect my home and my pack with my life. Rika Shaeyata is no longer my mate, but if you dare harm her I will still have your head. Aneyu is my daughter and I feel like a terrible father for letting her down. Jeita Tenauri is my dearest friend and the love of my life. Together, we have created life in Maeve, Romeo, Donovan Jett, Tomakka, Isruma, Juma, and Aveline.---------------------------------- The Others: Sebastian Novias, Macabre D'Loxeko, Rook L'Crudele, Cirro (WINGS Disposable), Laileux Di'Fiamma, Aether, & Maeve Tenauri.

The howl hit her ears and made her look up. For a long time she had just been standing there, staring at the ground. With a frown and a soft sigh, it was time to move forward and go. She couldn't allow herself to be late, after all. Yin leapt forward into a trot and her ears flicked around. She was forever listening now, forever wary of her surroundings. Everything was so familiar to her, yet so new and strange. Ever since the two-legged beings had been here...was this even their home anymore? Yes, it was still Crimson Valley, but there was something so different. It made her get an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach. If those idiots ever came back, she'd slaughter them! She'd kill any two-legged creature that dared made their way into her home! Fur bristling in frustration, she let loose a low growl and her fangs bared. Her dead-like ice eyes flared up with their anger and her paws seemed to dig into the soil. Many wolves had been lost because of them, many friends, family, and who knows what? Was Yang still alive? Was she dead? Where was she now? Too many questions, and not enough answers. Yin forced her fur to lie flat and soon looked calm again. But the fire was still dancing in her eyes, determination. She was determined to serve her pack in any way possible now. Never again. Never again would she let what happened to Crimson Valley repeat itself.
As she moved, she began to wonder who all was there. The alpha was, obviously, there, but anyone else? Her ears pricked forward with a sudden curiousity. How was Dark? Was he ok? A flash of concern shrouded her eyes and she sighed softly. What a horrible thing....she had nothing to lose, and he had everything. Her friend...was his family gone? Had they been stripped away from him? She hoped they weren't, she wanted her friend happy. Her pace quickened again from her walk and soon scents of the two hit her. They were both familiar to her, she knew who both of them were. So, she was the second one to arrive? But really the third wolf to be there. They came into view and she looked at Felth and Dark, one an aquaintance and the other a friend. Yin recalled meeting Felthenine at the river once. Along with two other wolves, if she recalled correctly. No, it had been just her, right? Approaching quietly and her pace going back to a walk, she stood beside Dark.
Yin lowered her ears and head in a small bow of respect. A small smile of greeting was placed upon her face. "Hi, long time no see...." She kept her head at a respectful level, but raised it from it's bowed position. Then she took a seat, eyes shifting over to Dark. They gave a flash of a friendly greeting. Then they returned back to the Alpha and watched her with curiousity.

After thouroughly going through the area, and choosing a den, Faolan heard a summoning howl coming from the Alphess. "Duty calls." he muttered, and at the classic wolf's effortless gallop, made his way towards the pack meeting place. This was the one place he had not yet visited, but it wasn't hard to find, seeing as though the Crimson Valley pack smelled the strongest there. He just followed his nose to the right place.
It took him a bit to get there, but it wasn't much longer after the howl. He noticed that Dark and Yin were already there. He knew Dark, but hadn't officially met him, and he nkew Yin from his acceptance into the pack. She had greeted him at the border soem time ago. He padded up to Felthenine, and simply dipped his head, and murmered a hello. Then he padded back a few places and sat down. He couldn't wait to see what she had to say! His thinking was completely sarcastic, as it was most often.
Frankly, he didn't see the point of having upper ranks, seeing as though he would take no orders from them, unless they made complete sense to him and weren't completely ridiculous. Faolan would do as he pleased; no one governed him...ever. Faolan was too bold a wolf to take orders seriously.

Dark breathed in the scents of approaching wolves. He knew one of them to be Yin and he wanted to care that his friend was safe, but wouldn't allow himself to be drawn from the innermost confines of his brain. He was surrounded by a fog of misery. Life meant nothing to him without his family. Nothing. The second scent was Faolan's. The midnight brute vaguely remembered him from a past pack meeting. He had been eyeing Rika. A slight anger bubbled up inside of the wolf, but he suppressed the feeling before it could show on his face.
Were the three wolves around him the only remaining Crimson Valley wolves? Surely everyone had not perished... Dark had a difficult time remaining hopeful. This would be a period of change in the wolf's life. If his family really was gone, he wouldn't allow himself to break before his emotions. The new Dark would be stronger; better than ever before. The black male would rebuild his outer wall and let no one inside.
With the thoughts in his head somewhat subsiding, Dark roused from them to see Yin and Faolan step into view. Yin made her way over toward him with a friendly stance. The brute's pale eyes, twin to the female's, softened a bit. Something about a familiar, friendly face comforted him a bit. "Hi, long time no see...." The black she-wolf spoke to Dark softly, a smile flashing across her face. She sat beside him and the male gave a half-hearted smile in return. "Hi, Yin." Was his brief reply. Words would come slowly for a while, Dark knew.
The brute gave a small nod of acknowledgment in Faolan's direction, but didn't bother parting his lips to the brute. There wasn't any reason to. Dark's pale eyes narrowed and fell to his paws. So much had happened and so much more would come. Where were the other survivors? Were there any? The only thing anyone could do at this point was sit and play the waiting game.
|ooc| Sorry this post is so blah... I don't know what happened to my writing ability. I think it died. D= And Faolan, let me know if you're still interested in making friends with Sebastian like we planned on the other site.|

Felthenine looked down two the first arrival, a dark furred male, her eyes lit up a moment and she eyed him up, but stopped herself, she was alpha now, she didn?t need a male interfering with her rule?though he was rather tasty. She stopped her lustful eyeing, she really had to get out of that rut she had with dark males, they were just so mysterious. A firm hello graced her ears, she smiled at him and nodded her head in greeting, she wasn?t going to be a stuck up alpha, she needed her pack members to respect her, not hate her after all, there was no pack if there were no members.
The second to arrive was Yin, a young female she met at the river once, she liked the female quite a bit from the start, she didn?t feel threatened in anyway by her and she seemed reliable, then again, for all she knew the whole remainder of the pack could be like that as she didn?t get to know many as the hardened warrior she had been. Though Felth had a vague idea on names for them all, she had a feeling the first male was called Dark, he wasn?t doing too badly for a family if she remembered rightly, the other male however, she had no idea, she would find out soon enough she was sure.
When every one was settled and it didn?t seem like many more were coming she stood up surveying the three, wow, three! ?I?m glad some of you made it back safely, welcome back. No doubt there will be others who may come back from hiding. If you don?t know me yet my name is Felthenine, though Felth will do. As you may have guessed I have taken lead of the pack to bring it back to glory.? She narrowed her eyes slightly just encase someone felt like standing up and saying otherwise. ?If we are going to get through this we need to work together to survive, try and refrain from killing each other as quite simply we have pitiful numbers. If you wish to hunt don?t shy from calling the pack, a bigger kill feeds you and others better than a small one as no doubt we all need our strength back.? She prowled about a moment thinking of anything more that needs mentioning. ?I expect more will come back, don?t chase them away unless you are sure they are not from our pack, if you suspect they are not our own, question them as a new loner, our borders are open to any who can help us rebuild our ranks.? She looked down at them, the last male to have a problem showing respect, the others had kept some degree of respect where as he did not, perhaps he was just doubting her capabilities? she could not tell.
Shaking her head she took a deep breath. ?So as not to bore you any longer, I shall assign a rank or two now, Yin and? Dark, is it? You will both be my second in command, as it is, I know Yin and I believe she will fit well and as she seems to know you I see you fit to stand beside her. Perhaps your decisions will not conflict too much.? Now she turned her gaze to the one she did not know, he didn?t seem to have been here that long yet either. ?As for you, I?m somewhat dubious of you, for now, Sentry, perhaps lead when I am more sure of you.? Felth sat back down again gazing at them for a moment. ?Any questions, ask them now.? Despite her best efforts she ended up admiring Dark again, he was a large male, how she liked them, especially the dark ones they just had that edge of mystery. She looked up at the sky a moment to avoid looking at him, it had been along time, too long since she had been with a male, years in fact. She stomped her foot a bit then looked down to see if any of them had questions.
A handsome male snorted sharply in his sleep and then rolled over in his bed of dead leaves. One red eye cracked open, followed by the other. He had been sleeping for a good while and he was quite relaxed in his area. A gutted carcass lie beside him, the remnants of last night's kill. Sorcen was reveling in the thrill of the hunt and the thought of what he could do, by himself. He just wanted to be alone. But that was when he wasn't being vindictive. Sorcen gave a wide smile and then rolled back over, savoring the feel of the early morning sunlight. There was nothing to do, besides terrorize wolves that crossed his path. No sense in wasting daylight sleeping when there were more deviant things to do. Necrosis crawled/walked to his paws and then shook his handsome coat. Lots of things had changed on this young wolf so that he no longer looked or even acted the same. They shyness that was a by-product of being bullied was gone, replaced with so much confidence that it was often confused with arrogance. His eyes were still red, but they seemed to glow from the malicious fires that lit them. His coat had faded to a snowy color that made him all the more handsome and rare, mainly because that snowy color was a lie, just like everything else about him. All in all, he had grown into a handsome, arrogant beast, and he was about to prove how arrogant. Once he was fully awake, he set out towards the borders of the lands that he was in. His sensitive nostrils caught the scent of a newcomer to the lands. Lifting his tail high, flaunting his body for all the world to see, he sped towards the direction that the scent had been. This reminded him of the time when he had done something oh so awful, but had the feeling that it was oh so right. He was taken back to a particular scent that still brought a sly grin to his face. He had been tracking this scent for days and finally, at the place where the scent was the strongest, he saw a female wolf. To most of the wolven species, she would have been beautiful, but to Sorcen, she was one thing and one thing only. Sorcen had smiled to himself and then padded quietly down to meet her. Why hello there beautiful, what are you doing out here among us wolves? His voice was as smooth as velvet, but it dripped venom. Let's see if this female was dumb enough to get bitten. Uh,I don't know, I'm kinda lost though and I need some help. Sorcen smiled and then padded over towards her, taking care to bump against her in all the right spots. Before speaking, he allowed her tail to rub gently along her neck, showing that he was interested in her. Really now? I can help you, but for a price. The fear and shock that appeared on her face aroused Sorcen so much whenever he saw it. He would have her, one way or another. Uh, n-n-no, I'm fine thank you and I have nothing to give you. Sorcen allowed the same grin to appear on his face as he padded forward, fangs appearing this time as he spoke. Oh I think you do... With that, he leapt forward, knocking the startled female over as he landed on top of her. Please, what are you doing, don't do this!! The fear in her eyes was a real turn-on. He would enjoy breaking this female and making her his own. Towering over her small, soft form, he felt like he was in so much control. It felt like he had so much power. Don't worry sweetheart, this won't hurt, at least not me. Who knows, you might like it. I've heard that there is a very thin boundary between pleasure and pain. With that, he growled lustily and then sank his teeth into the soft flesh of her neck, grasping her tightly. A delicious shiver ran down his colorless spine as he ran, scouring the area and marking this territory as his own. That was a fond memory of his, but he couldn't indulge in memories all of the time. There was so much to see and do, especially since he had caught the scents of a few new wolves on his terrains. A couple of days ago, he came across the scent of a female, obviously staking this territory as her own. That pissed him off, mainly because he had to cover up her arrogance and then track her down. He very well couldn't allow some crazed female to take up his lands as her own. But this morning, things had taken a turn for the better. Rather than having to track her through the entire forest, she sent a song his way. It haunted the forests and summoned Sorcen back to an area that he had passed a while back. Breaking through the thick foliage, he decided to interrupt. Females really were supposed to be seen and not heard. I have a question: How does one such as yourself just proclaim yourself leader when you have done nothing in the way of leading? We're all supposed to take your word that you will lead us into former glory and the place we all deserve? And we're also supposed to allow every weakling who comes flocking to our borders, begging for a scrap of meat, into our lands, correct? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like a load of manure. By this time, Sorcen had made his way to the middle of the enclosure, stopping right in front of the plateau where the female had seated herself. He knew that every eye had to be on him right now, so it was with great pleasure that Sorcen raised his tail into the Alpha position and gave a wicked smile. By the way, I am Sorcen, Alpha of Crimson Valley.ooc| ah it's good to be back to posting on here guys

Dark noted the fact that the fiery-eyed she-wolf was looking him over, but didn't falter in his firm stature. He had had his moment to let his eyes trail about her frame. More would undoubtedly come, seeing as the female was claiming herself to be their leader. The brute wouldn't protest. As long as she wasn't sending them all down a path to hell, he was fine with her being in command. Faolan seemed rather doubting of her authority...or maybe he was just dumb. Either way, there was a certain bitterness Dark felt toward the brute just because he had been watching Rika at the pack meeting so long ago. It was a stupid grudge to hold, yes, but the midnight wolf didn't care. Rika was seemingly gone now, so anything that made him think of her once his thoughts had settled pretty much just pissed him off.
As boredom began to fall over the male, the Alphess began to speak. It's about time... Dark thought rather smugly, but again kept his annoyance within. His pale eyes left the place where Faolan sat and lifted to the female on her perch. ?I?m glad some of you made it back safely, welcome back. No doubt there will be others who may come back from hiding. If you don?t know me yet my name is Felthenine, though Felth will do. As you may have guessed I have taken lead of the pack to bring it back to glory.? Felthenine, eh? Somehow, the name sounded vaguely familiar to Dark, though he didn't know exactly why. He wouldn't bother himself with questioning that. The she-wolf's eyes narrowed and the fire seemed to be extinguished, though only slightly. ?If we are going to get through this we need to work together to survive, try and refrain from killing each other as quite simply we have pitiful numbers. If you wish to hunt don?t shy from calling the pack, a bigger kill feeds you and others better than a small one as no doubt we all need our strength back.? Work together... She'd said it- the one thing Dark did not want to do at the moment. However, he had a duty to fulfill, and it was not abandoning his pack in a time of need. The black wolf may have felt pain in his heart and a venom in his tongue that longed for release, but the wolves of Crimson Valley were all he had at the moment whether he liked it or not. The angry beast in Dark subsided. ?I expect more will come back, don?t chase them away unless you are sure they are not from our pack, if you suspect they are not our own, question them as a new loner, our borders are open to any who can help us rebuild our ranks.? That seemed easy enough. Dark would give the newcomers hell if he got the chance, but as for chasing them off, he'd wait.
The thought of pestering the new members made the wolf's mind wander to Vaquel, though only briefly. He and the Beta hadn't exactly "hit it off", so to speak. Instead, Dark had made a fool of himself and pissed the blue brute off. The black male shrugged it off mentally. No use in dwelling on the past, as he said so often.
Felthenine seemed to study the three wolves sitting before her for a moment. She didn't exactly appear to be thrilled about being at the meeting. Dark couldn't say as he blamed her. Speaking in front of a group wasn't the most exciting activity in the world.
Well that surely was a surprise. The newly pronounced Beta gave a small grin in Felth's direction. He'd been trained a Beta and hunter back with his birth pack, so he was fairly confident in his abilities as one. Having Yin, a friend, at his side would be nice. They were a lot alike, so there probably wouldn't be any problem with decision making. Lost in thoughts of being named second-in-command, Dark only partially heard the Alphess give Faolan the Sentry position and asking if there were questions.
His mind quieted itself long enough for the dark wolf to notice Felthenine admiring him again. There was still a twinge of mourning that gripped the brute's soul, but the male inside of him loved every bit of the attention her eyes gave him. Their brilliant red-orange gaze lifted to the sky after a few moments and then fell back upon the group collectively. The inner-male, through loss, won Dark over long enough for him to speak. "Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you, Felth." His voice was surprisingly strong for his current condition. "Anything at all." He grinned momentarily, but let it fade as slight guilt overtook him.
Something about loss brings a lust into the mind of a male, and Dark was no exception. He could control his desires, though. Any relationship with real purpose would have to wait... But was there anything wrong with "getting together" casually? The black wolf's first meeting with Yin came to mind. Despite the short period of extreme guilt that ensued their game in the Midnight Forest, Dark had rather enjoyed himself. Perhaps something of that sort could happen again.
Maybe he was just extremely lonely and feeling a need for female company, but there was a new feeling coming over Dark. He was indeed changing.
Just as things seemed to be over, another male burst in upon their meeting and made his way to Felthenine's side after spouting off about calling her self a leader...or something. Hell if Dark knew. His brain was running rather slowly today and the interruption took a moment to register. There was something very haunting about the new wolf. He was unusually large, but thin, just as Dark was...though the rest of him was exactly the opposite.
Where the new wolf's hair seemed colorless (something Dark had never experienced before), his pelt was simply black. Where the ghost's eyes were an unsettling red (nothing like the fire of Felthenine's eyes), Dark's were icy blue. What the...? Who the hell...? The black wolf's brain had been revived just in time to catch the ghost wolf's proclamation of being the Alpha Male.
Dark's stomach knotted and his muscles tightened as he rose to his feet. He had a bad feeling about this Sorcen fellow. "Speaking of random claims of leadership, who the hell are you, Sorcen, to call yourself our leader?" The midnight wolf couldn't keep quiet. His guard hairs rose, though only slightly, and his posture was aggressive, but cautious.
Couldn't there be just one normal day around here?!

Everything had gone well so far nothing was there to bug her particularly, in the early stages she doubted that anyone would challenge her, as a few would have heard she had wanted this position for a very long time, even challenging the alpha female before. She smiled, in a slightly cheeky way as Dark spoke, he was rather hinting, but she had nothing to ask of him yet. ?Thank you Dark, but for now, we keep an eye out for others?.? She trailed off as a male came onto the scene, proclaiming HIS leadership, her eyes narrowed, she opened her mouth to give him back a snappy reply, but Dark got in first, she couldn?t help but smirk, he was defending her rights already, but she felt they were not enough.
She stood, tail high, hackles and hears erect, her lip lifted from her fangs. She spoke in a malevolent and commanding tone. ?I proclaim myself leader of this pack because I alone have fought the alphess before, I was made lead warrior and my skills were there to match. I have been a betess in my pack before this. I will lead this land to its former glory, nay better and I have lived to see its glory in war and fought by the sides of the best.? She snarled, ?I also have a brain, something you appear to lack, Sorcen. How DARE you come into MY lands, lands you have never seen before, into a pack you do not know an inch about.? She stood to her full height letting a threatening snarl out at him, she may have seen he was hansom, but if he kept being arrogant all over the place she would tear that pretty face in half. ?What makes you think that my pack would let someone like you, who would no doubt abuse your power rule over them?? She glared down at the insignificant speck of white, now beginning to wish she had appointed Dark to her side to avoid this conflict.
Felth growled softly down at him, interesting that he didn?t have the guts to come up to her on the alphas place. ?And for your information, this pack, is a pack of strength, so I?m afraid to say your not invited to the party? in short, get the hell out of my lands!? She barked down at him, all the hair and on her tail on end, her body in a battle ready offensive position and she growled in a low deadly voice. ?or show me your belly, miss snow white.? She watched him, he was either going to get out of her face, get on his back or there was going to be fur flying.
Who did he think he was? Walking in here and proclaiming all over the place, he wasn?t fit for the position if he was going to be so arrogant, so brain dead, being an alpha needed thought as well as strength and stepping up in a pack you don?t even belong to saying your alpha was a really bad idea. But even if he did attack her instead of leaving, she wouldn?t want her pack to get involved, after all it would be a fight for dominance and fighting was what she knew how to do best.
?I?m glad some of you made it back safely, welcome back. No doubt there will be others who may come back from hiding. If you don?t know me yet my name is Felthenine, though Felth will do. As you may have guessed I have taken lead of the pack to bring it back to glory.? ?If we are going to get through this we need to work together to survive, try and refrain from killing each other as quite simply we have pitiful numbers. If you wish to hunt don?t shy from calling the pack, a bigger kill feeds you and others better than a small one as no doubt we all need our strength back.? ?I expect more will come back, don?t chase them away unless you are sure they are not from our pack, if you suspect they are not our own, question them as a new loner, our borders are open to any who can help us rebuild our ranks.?
Her attention turned fully on Felthenine as she began to speak. Though she had first thrown a friendly smile in Dark's direction. What she said sounded simple enough. Yin was sure she could survive and refrain from some fights. Yin nodded her head slowly in acceptance to her words. She hoped that more from their pack would return. Also, she was amused now, and thinking of some fun of chasing loners around. Of course, she'd question them first and what not. But she couldn't wait to chase off some unfit loner, she didn't know why. It just seemed to be much fun to her. Of course, she knew as of now, her place probably wasn't to chase them off. What Felthenine said next threw her off guard, Beta!? Second in command!? Yin's eyes lit up with surprise as she was appointed the rank. But then a smile of appreciation crossed her lips. She bowed her head in thanks and them looked proud. Wow, Beta...Yin had never expected it. Her ears twitched, hearing Dark become the other Beta. Yin turned her head to him and gave a blink of congratulations. She didn't even care to hear that the other male there had gotten Sentry, which had been her goal. She had gotten way more then she would've ever expected. "I'll do the best I can," Yin said.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like a load of manure.By the way, I am Sorcen, Alpha of Crimson Valley.
Yin's eyes turned to the white male and her fur bristled. What the hell!? Her ears flattened unhappily at the new male. Who was he? Who did he think he was? Just barging in here and claiming such a thing. Yin glared at him as his words registered. Was there ever anything that didn't happen in a pack day? This was uncalled for and unexpected. She had opened her mouth to snap something, but Dark had beat her to it. So Yin merely snarled at the newcomer. She stood up and listened to Felthenine, a smile coming to her face. She was confident that Felth could take care of herself and this pack. But Yin would do anything she could to help. She was ready to help chase him away as her ears remained flat. This male was large and looked like Dark a bit. But the male was white with red-colored eyes, which was kinda creepy. Something unusual, Yin would say. She stood quietly, ready for if she would be needed. How was this going to play out? Her mind began to spin curiously. Yin wanted to spit something nasty at him, but remained quiet. There was no use in getting involved unless she was told to. But she felt too uncomfortable to sit herself back down, so Yin remained standing.

Sorcen didn't even bat a bloody eye at the outbursts. Their anger and shock was to be expected. After all, who was he, a random loner, to come barging into their pack meeting and tell them that he was their Alpha Male, and in so many words, their King. Well, he quietly took in all of the outbursts, allowing their words to reflect off his cool exterior. Maybe that was why the Divine Gods had cursed him with a colorless pelt: nothing anyone said to him was absorbed by it. "Speaking of random claims of leadership, who the hell are you, Sorcen, to call yourself our leader?" This was from a wolf whose pelt was as dark as a moonless night. Sorcen turned his eyes towards the wolf, surveying him quietly. He was skinny, just like Sorcen himself was, showing that he had lived a long life of a loner. Well, to have lived alone and still be alive, this wolf obviously knew how to keep himself alive. That would prove useful when Sorcen decided to put his plan into action. Sorcen took into account what the male had said and kept it in mind for what he would later have to say. His focus now was on the female who had the audacity to seat herself upon the Plateau, as if she had earned that right.
?I proclaim myself leader of this pack because I alone have fought the alphess before, I was made lead warrior and my skills were there to match. I have been a betess in my pack before this. I will lead this land to its former glory, nay better and I have lived to see its glory in war and fought by the sides of the best. I also have a brain, something you appear to lack, Sorcen. How DARE you come into MY lands, lands you have never seen before, into a pack you do not know an inch about.? Wo, she chose to hurtle insults his way, which was rather childish. Even though he had lived a hard life, some of the former Sorcen Altair showed through. His father Dhrejon had taught him to hold a civil tongue in his mouth and it was a weaker wolf that had to resort to name calling when they were furious. Already she showed emotion, not unlike the former Alphena. At this thought, a light chuckle escaped his jaws. Both females like to hurl insults and look where it had gotten the former and was getting ready to get the latter. Sorcen sneered at her, his body shaking with nearly uncontrollable mirth. Really, she was too much.
Sorcen took a step forward, his temerity and boldness issuing from every step. Some things she said were true. He was not apart of this pack, but he would address that right now. Parting his jaws, Sorcen spoke, voice loud and authoritative. After this night, everyone would know and fear Crimson Valley, with the Monster of Valdyr at its helm. You may have fought the Alphena before wolf, but you lost to her, showing that you were not ready to take her throne from her. Honestly, I do not know how that was possible, seeing as she was a poor fighter when you really examined her. You claim you were Lead Warrior, but how many wolves did you put the fear of Crimson Valley into? This pack is full of strength, cunning, and brutality, and as Lead Warrior, you should have made the weaker packs fear us! Yet you come forth, in the absence of a true leader, and want to command these fighters? Sorcen then looked at the wolves gathered there: the dark male whom he bore some resemblance to, another ebony wolf, although a female this time, and two more wolves who remained silent. Sorcen knew that they were sizing him up, checking to see if he had the temerity that it took to lead them. This was the moment of truth and Sorcen knew that right now, at this very moment of time, he had to prove his worth.
You do, however, speak some truth. I am not apart of this pack, but not because I did not try. I beseeched the previous Alpha Pair to allow me in, but they feared my ideals, my goals, my dreams. I wanted to avenge this pack for the suffering and pain that the white guardian of the Silver Mountain had placed upon us. But they wanted no part. They were afraid of what would would happen and in return, they lost their pups and their lives! I will allow no such thing to happen. My blood is that of an Alpha Heir and I come from lands to the North of here. Together, we will give those who have placed us all at the position of an Omega something to truly fear. We will return our glory! Sorcen was panting now, with the blood thundering in his ears. What came from the female was the sort of thing a weak coward would say. ?And for your information, this pack, is a pack of strength, so I?m afraid to say your not invited to the party? in short, get the hell out of my lands! Or show me your belly, miss snow white.?
Wow, name calling again. But this time, she struck a nerve within his thin, yet muscular form. All his life, Sorcen had been teased and tormented by his siblings because of his colorless form. When he had been made a slave to another pack, he had hated his blood-red eyes. Snowy, frosty, stain, and of course, Snow White, were some of the names that he had been called. Now, standing in the middle of a pack of blood-thirsty wolves, he was being called that by a female!! A sticking, pup-whelping, lying, FEMALE! Still determined to keep his cool, Sorcen decided to take this pack by storm by doing something that would have made his mother quite ashamed of him. But honestly, he had stopped giving a d4mn about what females thought anymore. Why don't you get off your lazy ass and come make me... With that, he sent a stream of urine her way, showing what he really thought of her and her lands. Returning his leg to the ground, he tensed his muscles, teeth showing and fur flared around his body. Now, he looked every bit the monster that he was claimed to be. This was a fight that he would gladly take because he wouldn't take a female like her ruling beside him.

Faolan nodded as he was given his rank. A Sentry, eh? I get to fight, protect the land, and I get to chase off loners. A pretty sweet deal, I might say, he thought and chuckled. He had no questions, at all for the female, and was thankful for his rank. At least it was better than being a pitiful subordinate. They were just extra bodies living in the pack, and did nothing special.
At the white male began to speak, Faolan contemplated his words. They sounded pretty darn good, somewhat like his plan in the first place. Ah, but Faolan had claimed the job first, even though no one knew about it. It was Faolan's goal to become Alpha male. This white brute had no right to come and take that away from him. Faolan chuckled as he watched the drama unfold.
After Felth said her piece, Faolan nodded his approval, not that she needed it. She seemed skilled enough, and even though he didn't know her, he had confidence in her that she would do a good job. And if not, then someone else would challenge her, and she would no longer lead the pack.
"I've seen wolves like you, Sorcen. All talk and no action. Pitiful, really." Faolan stood, and his fur bristled. No one ever insulted his pack...ever. Faolan was a loyal wolf, and even though he had only joined the pack a few days ago, he already was bound to it, and as a Sentry, it was his duty to fight wolves like this, but he would wait for Felth's command before he even took a step. A low growl escaped his throat, and Faolan bared his ivory-colored teeth. They were of course, a bit bloodstained from all of the blood he had tasted in his life, but they were still as good as any other wolf's teeth, capable of ripping apart flesh. Once the pack was done with this sorcen guy, Faolan planned on skinning him.
Once he sent urine in Felthenine's direction, Faolan snarled, and was so tempted to lunge and rip off his head, that he had to take a step back to restrain hismelf. This was completely infuriating, and he could bearly stand watching it. "You just give the word, Alphess, and I'll rip him to shreds." he muttered, just loud enough to hear. Adrenaline pumped through his body, and gave him the energy that food and rest could not provide. Faolan was in attack mode, and all that was on his mind was protecting his pack, and spilling this b*****d's blood. The ground would be drenched and stained crimson before Faolan got done with him. Faolan supposed that was why it was called Crimson Valley. The pack would live up to its name today, Faolan was sure of it.

Dark's ears lowered themselves against his skull as his ghostly eyes shot from wolf to wolf, listening to their combative words being thrown at each other. Charcoal lips began to quiver as the anger slowly began to build within the black wolf. He could feel the fire of his rage beginning to warm his legs. It engulfed his entire body and moved to his head. When put to use, Dark's mind was something to envy, and right now the gears were starting to turn. The hot fury was further fueling his thoughts.
Although the midnight wolf's blood was nearing a boiling point, his exterior remained the same. He stood, hackles still in a defensive position, muscles tense and ready for any quick moves. Sorcen's words were very convincing, but at the same time, the brute had a painful similarity to Sebastian. Dark loathed that in the white ghost already. However, as he continued his speech, the wolf seemed to become more and more crazed. He had begun to pant and appeared to be losing himself in his own words. The black male furrowed his brow. Sorcen was clearly on the mentally unstable side.
The Beta waited until the words seemed to be done flying between the others before he made a motion to speak. However, as Dark's lips began to part, so did Sorcen's hind legs... Oh, now that's lovely... Piss all over everyone, why don't you, you raving lunatic! The brute's mind snapped, but Dark didn't speak. He was almost speechless. His eyes widened and he raised a brow. That was most definitely something he had never seen happen before, and as much as he wanted to let out a small chuckle, the brute kept quiet.
Once the initial shock of what had just happened passed, the Beta tried his best to ignore the fact that Sorcen had just...urinated in Felthenine's direction. "You speak well, Sorcen, but bloodlust will get this pack nowhere. I've been through war with Crimson Valley in the past and it is not the answer! I do not underestimate the power of fear, but we are not looking to dominate. Yes, Crimson Valley was once strong and full of warriors, but now is not the time for intimidating the world. We're in the middle of a rebuilding stage. You cannot barge onto our lands and tell us that we are to be fearsome and that we are to be under your rule! That's ridiculous...you are ridiculous! You've come from nowhere and expect us to follow you... I think you're a d*mn fool." Dark's voice rumbled within his gut. It was stern, but not raised. He would not lose his patience...not yet anyway. The ghost before him was certainly testing them.
With that being said, the midnight wolf let his head rise a bit. He wanted Sorcen to know that he wouldn't allow himself to be dominated so easily. Dark's eyes met the blood red of the white wolf's. However unsettling this was, the Beta did not let his gaze or posture falter.

She let him speak, though she was seething on the outside, her mind was working through what should be done in her high position, he didn?t even deserve to here about the alpha female before, why would an alpha, be alpha if they could not hold the position? Obviously this white creature had no brain at all, to think, she might have credited him with a cell or two. Felth was actually quite amazed by this male, though not in a good way, she had never met such a brainless ball of bone, muscle and fluff, or perhaps that?s what invaded his brain. She raised an eyebrow at his display, her hackles falling back but her tail still high as he showed what he thought of he. Mayhap her pack would be behind her on not allowing him to take ultimate charge, after all, she was power hungry, but sensibly so, was this really what the pack would want? She didn?t think so some how.
A cruel smile slid to her maw, her eyes becoming mocking. ?Oh! I?m terribly sorry, did I hit a nerve? I will not attack you for taunts, brute, you are not worthy for me to lift a paw to. To react to mere taunting would be a sign of weakness in mind. I intend to be a reasonable ruler, not a beast that feels he should piss everywhere because he feels so insecure about himself.? She smirked, he was just giving her more and more to leach off with every moment. ?Perhaps you should try another pack to over rule!? She snarled. ?This pack has been to war unwillingly once before, Sorcen, they clearly do not want to go again, I know I would rather live life with out watching my charge dying and suffering about me dying for a pathetic cause. They are not puppets to be manipulated for your revenge against who ever hurt your pride. Revenge never makes a lasting alpha, I recall the last were all killed in battle.? She grinned at him. ?You will have to get use to it, I lead this pack and I will NOT lead them into mindless battle and as Dark said, this is not the time for the carnage you wish to seek!?
Felth growled menacingly. ?Get out of our lands and stop wasting our time which we could be using to get this pack back on its feet! If you feel the need to pester someone try silver mountain, they are much more tolerant than we will be.? She had a feeling this male would have to be run off the lands. She lifted her hackles again, looking to her betas to see if they looked ready to run the brute, she would join them whole heartedly. ?What is best for the pack, is that you leave, what is best for you, is that you leave? perhaps you should leave, no?? She snarled, baring all 42 teeth. ?This is your last chance brute!? It really was his last chance, and if she caught him, his lower parts were history, that would stop him in despicable displays.

Kodiak heard the threats of the pack, but they didn't bother him. Let them hurl their insults and think he was crazy. A sure fire way to see if your ideas were revolutionary was to watch how others reacted to them. He wasn't for a war immediately, that was just plain stupid, but in due time, like all things. Yes, they would have to build up their numbers, by enticing others to join and by stealing others away with promises. The pack was growing restless around him, ready to rip him into shreds. Two he could take, but not all of them. He would need to do this now. The black wolf stared him in his eyes, daring him to make a move. Sorcen held his gaze the entire time that he spoke, daring him to back down and knowing that he wouldn't. Keep it up, your fangs and claws will be useful. This raced through Sorcen's mind, but he was ready for the onslaught of anger. "You just give the word, Alphess, and I'll rip him to shreds." This from another male. He was of no concern of Sorcen's for the moment. All he had to do was keep his cool. He was panting, but it was a by product of the adrenaline that was running through his blood stream.
I think you're a d*mn fool." This came from the black male. Now it was the time to make himself understood. Sorcen held his ground, and held his gaze on the male's. That is true, blood-lust will get us nowhere, which is why the fight will be more along the lines of a mental one, which if we based the other wolves off your Alpha, they would lose severely. And yes, we must rebuild, but do you honestly think they will allow us to rebuild in peace? I am not saying attack them now, because in that path, there only lies suicide, but we must let them know!
Now it was the Alpha Female's turn to speak and she was still talking and doing nothing. If a wolf would have tried Sorcen's authority that way, he would have killed them for their insolence, not try to bargain with them. But now she had lost her chance to gain the pack's support and chase him off the lands. No, she only stood there calling out crude comment and making a bigger ass of herself. ?Oh! I?m terribly sorry, did I hit a nerve? I will not attack you for taunts, brute, you are not worthy for me to lift a paw to. To react to mere taunting would be a sign of weakness in mind. I intend to be a reasonable ruler, not a beast that feels he should piss everywhere because he feels so insecure about himself. Perhaps you should try another pack to over rule! This pack has been to war unwillingly once before, Sorcen, they clearly do not want to go again, I know I would rather live life with out watching my charge dying and suffering about me dying for a pathetic cause. They are not puppets to be manipulated for your revenge against who ever hurt your pride. Revenge never makes a lasting alpha, I recall the last were all killed in battle. You will have to get use to it, I lead this pack and I will NOT lead them into mindless battle and as Dark said, this is not the time for the carnage you wish to seek!?
Yeah, this female was dumb. There was no mistake about it. Either she had lived her life in a hole in the ground or she was dangerously ignorant of wolven ways. Sorcen shook his coat and relaxed his body. He circled once more and then padded to the Plateau, seemingly ignoring her words. Raising his leg once more, he pissed on the bottom of the plateau, marking it as his. Sniffing it delicately, he smiled when he knew that it reeked of his scent and he then turned and looked at the female, the challenge in his words. You sit there and call me dim, but you have done nothing to refute my claim to your lands. I have just marked my territory. Look well Crimson Valley wolves, your Alpha does not seek to defend whats hers, what makes your lives any different? I will lay down my life for each of you because I refuse to allow any of you to die needlessly. I will not ask of my pack to do anything that I will not, nor will I sit back and expect my pack to work while I rule. No, we are a pack, a family, nor a dictatorship.
Sorcen dipped his head regally and then began to speak once more, eyes glistening in defiance to the wolf that sat upon it. She was still sitting there... You won't even fight to defend your title. No, you'd rather sit on your fat ass and hope your wolves chase me out! I dare you to come down here and fight me for the title of Alpha of Crimson Valley! I, Sorcen Sangra of the Blood Line, challenge you, lazy, arrogant, usurper to the title of Alpha of Crimson Valley. Back down and I will peel the flesh from your bones! He then turned to the surrounding wolves and spoke. Do not interfere, but if I lose, I will gladly offer my own body as a sacrifice to you all in the hopes that my flesh will be the first meal of the pack's return! With that being said, he tensed up once more, ready for the fight, knowing that she would back down once more and he would be free to attack her. He would be at a sore disadvantage if he tried to attack her on her high platform. So let her come to him and even the playing field.
